First and Second Conditional

 Questão 1
a) - A first conditional são orações condicionais que indicam possibilidades ou prováveis ações
futuras.

• - A second conditional são orações usadas para falar sobre situações futuras improváveis
ou quase impossíveis de acontecerem.

• b) - IF + Simple Present + Simple Future (first conditional)
• - IF + Simple Past + Would, Could, Might, Should + Infinitive (second conditional)

• c) FIRST CONDITIONAL:

• - If you want, I`ll go with you (affirmative)

• - If he doesn`t study, he`ll repeat at school (negative)
• - What will you do if the train is full tomorrow? (interrogative)

• SECOND CONDITIONAL:
• -If I had his number, I would call him (affirmative)
• -If I were you, I wouldn`t go out with that man (negative)
• -What would you say if you met the President? (interrogative)

 Questão 3
• IF I LOSE MYSELF – ONE REPUBLIC

• Nesta música temos o trecho “If I lose myself tonight, It’ll be by your side” ( Se eu me perder
esta noite, será do seu lado).

• Na primeira oração temos If e o verbo no presente Lose, enquanto na segunda oração temos o
auxiliar que expressa futuro Will. Temos claramente uma ação que depende de outra ação, pois o
cantor só se perderá esta noite se for ao lado de uma outra pessoa.
