• To find possible ways to create environment for psychological rehabilitation and social
upliftment of human traffic victims.
• To endure design framework aimed at creating effective built healing environment.

OBJECTIVE :
• To propose framework for creating
spaces which would support in self-
healing procedure.

and understand the effect of
architecture on victims.
• To create spaces which would support in
self-healing process.
• To use the four senses for positive
psychological impact through
architecture.

SCOPE OF STUDY :
• Research on architecture of built-ups that would have psychological effect on the human traffic
victims.
• Research on different kind of materials and the impact on the victims.
• The prime focus would be on landscape.

• Selection of topic (inspiration)
• Literature and background study
• Formulation of Aims and Objectives
• Collection of Data
(Psychological effects of lights, colours, interpretation of different
forms, nature sound, aroma. Study of different visual and tactile

LIMITATION :
• Social and civic rehabilitation generally involves policies.
• Basic common psychological traits are dealt with.
• Taste is to be omitted while considering the sense involved in design.
• Complete healing can’t be done through architecture, but healing supportive environments is being provided.
• And many more related to it.

AIM :
OBJECTIVES:
• To create a healing environment for psychological and economical rehabilitation.
SCOPE:
The focus is largely on the healing-oriented landscapes in the healthcare centres within the healthcare • To analyse the effects of healing-oriented landscapes in healthcare centres

Primary case study of a healthcare centre in Delhi has been attempted to assess the outdoor areas and their
impact on the patients and the visitors.
LIMITATIONS:
Due to unavailability of healing gardens in Indian healthcare centre design it will not be possible to do a

Absence of research on healing gardens in Indian context, most of the study will be based in United States • To understand the evolution of healing-oriented landscapes
