VISION
Of others we envision that Barangay Maybunga to be a progressive,
healthy and peaceful community with empowered constituents who are
disciplined law-abiding productive environmentally aware and collectively
participating in decision making towards good governance. A community
where the Barangay leadership reliant ever ready to help and vigilant of
the problems and needs.

MISSION
To formulate and enforce transparent plans sounds policies and
regulations to uplift the quality of life in the interest of the community with
regards to environment, peace and order, education and infrastructure
health and social services ensuring that all individuals be given equal
access to the services the government has to offer.
QUESTION AND ANSWER:
Q 1: Do you have programs for senior citizen in your barangay.
Of course we do have programs for Senior Citizen aside from the fact that National
government has. In particular, we have the white card wherein it will give senior citizens
20% discount on all medicines, 5% discount on groceries and 20% discount when
hospitalized. But currently, the Local government of Pasig release the Blue card also
called as Privilege card, wherein senior citizens has the benefit of free hospitalization in
Pasig City’s accredited hospitals. No payment on all the expenses even on medicines,
except when the senior citizen is confined on the hospital and admitted in pay ward, then
only 20% discount will be given. Also every December, as we all know, our Lolo and
Lola’s are receiving 3,000 pesos cash as “Pamaskong Handog” by the Local government
for them. Plus, in every barangay in Pasig, there are free medicines given away for the
seniors as long as there will be available prescription. To name, those are the
maintenance medicines for different illness like High blood and diabetes. Which has
allotted budget quarterly. Of 300,000 pesos. These free medicines are also available
for PWD's vitamins or same needs with the seniors. We also do have free wheelchair,
crane, crutches, and BP assistance for the seniors whenever they need it as long as they
will show proof of their illness needing those. This August 9 and on wards we have free
vaccination for pneumonia, seniors can still avail it. They also request for zumba twice a
month which we provided the training, trainor and free bottled water.
Q 2: How do you address senior citizen need and concerns?
Learn to pronounce the concern of senior citizens here in senior citizen is that their social status has
found every senior citizen has their head because hundred peso month allowance is provided by
the national government through DSWD but there are also requirements when you are senior
citizen accepted allowance.
3: What are your programs in PWD?
Almost the same actually we don't have in July 2019 we have a minor of 125, of which only 47
have 18 in women 18 in men have a total of 341, 185 women, 156 men in senior 14 in female 18
to male so the total of all pods in the fruitful village is 498 people now in the minor we have also
been provided with foods such as milk and vitamins. after the sanitary we also give them diapers
to the children so it is a great help to the parents also council.
Q 4: What are you system for PWD's to boost and inhance there abilities in future?
It's just like that we give them an assembly like games. We do this as well as boost their ability.
We give them the opportunity to make a living they have the same person with abilities we gave
them a coffee machine provide. When they get the income they have it and need to report how
much they earn on a monthly basis.
Q 5: As a senior citizen committee what are your benefit you received.
Of course as a committee of course I'm glad to see my fellow senior citizens. For me it is an honor
to be of little importance in my coordination as a member.
