COLD START OF UNIT 6 / 7/8

GENARAL REQUIREMENTS
• 1)Take clearance from all concern sections & check cancellation of all related permits of various systems / auxiliar
clearance from all concern sections & check cancellation of all related permits of various systems / auxiliaries
condition.

• 2)All filters & coolers are cleaned & necessary lubrication of equipment is done.All control & power supplies are
available
• 3)Ensure that HT /LT boards are in healthy condition', Ensure that All Fans/pumps /coal mills lub oil system and
cooling systems are in service.
• Ensure that All turbine drains are in open condition

• Ensure all drum vents, super heater vents , start up vents , super heater drains are open.

• Open ring header drains, Economiser drain for filling . Drain to IBD should be closed.

• All oil guns are cleaned. HP-LP bypass valve trials are taken & found OK.
