Consequences:
While we tend to focus on positive behaviors there are
consequences for those who choose not to follow the rules. The
consequences vary on the severity of the issue, but the general
sequence is as follows:
1. Verbal Warning and Refocus
2. Detention (Lunch or After School)
3. Parent Phone Call
4. Office Referral

new mathematics curriculum in all

Carnegie Overview:
Mathematics is not a list of
disconnected concepts, but rather
a body of knowledge made up of
interconnected concepts. This
course was designed to coherently
build upon the foundations
developed in prior grades or
previous lessons within the course.
The activities within the book
requires students to make sense of
mathematics and to demonstrate
reasoning through problem solving,
writing, discussing, and presenting.
Effective communication and
collaboration are essential skills
of a successful learner.
