and hospitality establishments communicate
their products and services to their
prospective clients through their websites;
4. answer assessment activity.
 Introduction:
The tourism and hospitality industry is no
doubt helping a country in terms of
economic stability. People of varying
skills are hired in travel agencies, hotels,
restaurants, airline companies, gaming
companies, catering establishments,
and the like, thus, producing a large
number of employed individuals who
provide a great and rewarding
experience to various type of clients.
 This challenging and
rewarding is composed of the ff:

1. travel sector
2. food and beverage sector
3. accommodation sector
4. attraction sector
5. events sector
6. wellness sector
THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY

- People travel for various reasons:

Food, business, or commerce
survival, and the like.

Through innovation, different modes

of transportation.
1. Air (by plane)
2. Land (by buses, trains, etc.)
3. Water (by ships, vessels, etc.)
THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE
INDUSTRY

- This is really an intrinsic part of

travel. Travel of an individual will
never be complete without availing
the services of the f and b sector.
At the moment, these are facilities
scattered like mushrooms in all
parts of the globe.
THE LODGING FACILITIES
- These may be include hotels,
motels, apartels, condotels, inns,
and other establishments offering
both and bed at a certain cost.
These lodging facilities grew int
heir travel, as travelers needed
places for shelter and food in
times they are travelling for
whatever purpose they have.
THE ATTRACTION SECTOR

- Attraction are important

considerations and vital part of
the tourism industry. As these
are some of the reasons why
travelers go into place, it
significant that attractions are
well-developed and
maintained.
THE RESORTS
- These are places which attracts
visitors during holidays or vacations,
for relaxation and recreation and are
operated by a single company or by
business partners.

- Resorts are not exempted in

managing information systems
especially that most operate in an
island to offer the best relaxation.
 THE TRAVEL AGENCY AND
TOUR OPERATIONS
- Travel and tour operations are
responsible in dealing with the
travelers travel needs.

- some of the services offered are

the following:
1. reservation ticketing
2. packaged tour
3. travel documentation
 THE WELNESS SECTOR

 Like the other sector, wellness

has become an integral part of
one’s travel. The need to be well
and relaxed after a long journey
or after a series of tiring yet
fulfilling tour activities necessities
this sector to be available and
affordable.
