What is Empowerment?

• It refers to the mechanisms that

communities gain to control life and
issues in economics, social,
psychological and political aspects

control, political efficiency, improved quality
life and social.

• The importance of empowerment is to achieve a


better level of community life, particularly on
community competency, community capacity and
social capital.

• Issues like poverty, health, women, PWD, single


mother, youths and leadership organizations are
the most effective approach in solving issues by
empowering individuals or groups through
ability and potential development.

have demonstrated to identify problems, obtain
resources, improve skills and experience, Implement,
lead and mobilize all community members to be actively
and involved in each program conducted for mutual
benefits

The communities with initiatives, clear goals, resilient


and resources are also the main attributes of
communities that are empowered to make changes and
developments within the community members can face
challenges and problems to ensure the well-being of
their lives
