LET’S START
 DEFINITION OF GLOBAL WARMING
• It means there is an INCREASE in
TEMPERATURE or there is a literal WARMING
UP in the EARTH ATMOSPHERE. Where it gets
warm , the Earth that we live in will no longer
be suitable for any living things to live in.
Therefore, this is one out of many serious
issue that the world is facing.

 Causes of global warming
1. Over excess of co2(carbon dioxide gas) in
the earth atmosphere thus more heat will
be trapped, leading to increase in global
temperature.
2. Agriculture: for agriculture to take place ,
trees need to be cut down to create space
thus when trees are cut down , there are
lesser trees to convert these carbon dioxide
gasses into oxygen via photosynthesis.
3. Transportation : the gases that cars,
motorcycle and other types of
transportation are a factor too.
There is also been an increase in
manufacturing vehicles in the past 30 years
which is also emission of other gases in the
atmosphere in higher.
4. Chlorofluorocarbons, commonly known as
CFCs , are a group of man-made compound
containing chlorine , fluorine and carbon.
They are not found anywhere in nature.
 Some efforts to slow down the
global warming
1. Using public transportation: This decreases
emission of CO2 as many people do not
drive their own vehicles

2. Turning off electrical appliances when not in

use. Electricity comes from burning of fossil
fuel which emits carbon dioxide.
• 3 Don’t litter: littering is also a factor in
global warming as the litters are not being
disposed properly and may polluting our
fresh water that can be use as drinking water
or clean water
• 4 do not support Styrofoam as it is not
recyclable. plastic is a suggested material it
can be recycled. Thus cutting down the
frequency of litters and production of plastic.
Hence ,lesser gas is being emitted into the
atmosphere.

I have talked about the definition of global
warming, the causes and some efforts on
how to slow down Global warming. I hope
we all can do out small part in slowing down
Global warming as Earth is the only planet
we have
