Determine Potential Delivery System

Analyze phase is to evaluate differfent instructional delivery systems

Common delivery systems include
a. Face to face learning
b. Computer based learning
c. Video based learning
d. Internet based Learning
e. Blended (two or more of the above)
Face to face learning

• Face-to-face education involves traditional classroom learning. Which

participant or students, instructors or fasilitators meet together in same
place and at same time. who study at a face-to-face learning institute attend
classes daily. Classes vary from early morning to afternoon lessons

• Ways to inform the information

• 1. Lecture method
• 2. Question and answer method
• 3. Discussion Methods
• 4. Excercise methods
Advantages
1. Face-to-face minimise the risk of miscommunication .
2. You can share and compare notes with your classmates.
3. Your questions get answered in real time,
4. The lecturer may point out important sections in the textbook,
Disadvantages
1. If the instructor is not creative the class will bored
2. Due to time constraints in class, the lecturer cannot answer each and every
student’s questions
3. Classes vary from early morning to afternoons.
4. must be in class to get the learning experience and to keep up with requirements.
Computer based learning

Computer-based learning (CBL) is the term used for any kind of learning with the
help of computers. Computer-based learning makes use of the interactive elements
of the computer applications and software and the ability to present any type of
media to the users

Computer-based learning is mainly used in:

1.Knowledge-based training and assessment
2.Simulation-based learning and training
3.Creative and instructional games
4.Problem-solving training
Advantages
1. People can learn at a place comfortable for them,
2. Its appearance can produce a combination of text (text), sound (audio), image (video),
and animation.
3. Providing more information access facilities.
4. Can be adjusted to the motivation, ability, and speed of learning.

Disadvantages
1 . Lack of interaction between humans, so for students who like interaction in traditional
learning methods will consider learning with the CBT model very difficult for them.
2. Requires a fairly expensive cost, (to develop material, software or hadware costs used).
Video based learning

Video based learning is the delivery of knowledge or skills using video.

Videos to learn must have at least two elements, visual and audio. The
visual element is useful for providing a primary source of information
that is easily understood and harmonized with the audio element used
to decipher information.
Advantages
1. Learning to use video is more effective in explaining abstract
information in a short amount of time.
2. provide a new learning experience for participants.
3. Easy to understand.
Disadvantages
1. Time consuming to script, record, and edit
2. If not interested the video make bored
Internet based learning

The Internet is increasingly being used for the delivery of educational

material and distance education. Internet-based learning allows
students to learn at their own pace, access the information at a time
that is convenient for them, and provides education to remote students
that otherwise would not be able to travel to a classroom.
Advantages
1. It is possible for the distribution of education to all corners of the country and
unlimited capacity because it does not require classrooms.
2. Can choose topics or teaching materials that are in accordance with their wants
and needs.
3. The length of study time also depends on the ability of each learner / student.
4. Learning can be done interactively
Disadvantages
1. requires internet facilities because not all regions have internet facilities.
2. An abuse has occurred from using the Internet.
3. Plagiarism occurs
4. Requires a stable signal
Blended learning

Blended learning is an approach to learning that combines brick and

mortar instructor led training and online learning activities.
Advantages
1. Delivery of learning can be carried out anytime and anywhere by utilizing an internet network system.
2. Learners have the flexibility to study material or teaching materials independently
3. Teachers can manage and control the learning done by students outside of student learning hours.
4. Teachers can ask students to review the subject matter before face-to-face learning takes place by preparing
supporting tasks. The target achievement of teaching materials can be achieved in accordance with the targets
set.

Disadvantages
1. The media needed is very diverse, so it is difficult to apply if the facilities and infrastructure do not support.
2. Unequal facilities owned by students, such as computers and internet access. Even though in blended learning
adequate internet access is needed, if the network is inadequate it will be difficult for participants to take part in
independent learning via online.
3. Teachers need to have skills in organizing e-learning
4. Teachers need to prepare time to develop and manage e-learning learning systems, such as developing
materials, preparing assessments, making assessments, and answering or giving statements at forums that are
delivered by students
