 Also known as the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010

 An act granting additional benefits and privileges to senior citizens further

amending RA 7432, as amended, otherwise known as "an act to maximize the
contribution of senior citizens to nation building, grant benefits and special
privileges and for other purposes

 Section No. 4 (Privilege for the Senior Citizen)

 RIGHTS, DISCOUNTS AND OTHER BENEFITS OF
SENIOR CITIZEN
The senior citizen shall be entitled to:

1. The grant of twenty percent (20%) discount and exemption from the value -added tax (VAT),
if applicable, on the sale of the following goods and services from all establishments, for the exclusive use and
enjoyment or availment of the senior citizen:

 Professional fees of attending  Professional fees of licensed professional

 Purchase of medicines, including the
physician/s in all private health providing home health care
purchase of influenza and pnuemococcal
hospitals, medical facilities, services as endorsed by private hospitals
vaccines, & other essential medical supplies,

Please take note:

Age in securing PWD ID is from 0-59 years old. If the PWD

reach the age of 60 he/she is already considered Senior
Citizens and will no longer be issue a PWD ID because the
benefits are just the same.

Qualified PWD shall be entitled to claim at least 20% discount from the
following establishments relative to the sale of goods and services for their
exclusive use and enjoyment or availment of the PWD.

provided herein, whichever is higher and more favorable.

BP 344 – ACCESSIBILITY LAW

 Amended February 1983

 Covers provisions on the construction and renovation of government and private
buildings for public use to have structural and architectural facilities to enhance the
mobility and accommodation of PWDs.
