In 2000, The Netherlands approved voluntary
euthanasia. The Dutch law allowing voluntary
euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide took
effect on the 1st of February, 2002. For 20 years
previously, it had been permitted under
guidelines.

Reasons why we should not

approve EUTHANASIA
They will just kill
people under the guise
of euthanasia!!!

In many hospitals such patients take

their place, why not die early and
free the bad? There have been such
cases a morally unscrupulous doctor
can lie and send the patient to the
next world.
Doctor - DEATH

For example: There was Dr.

Shipman who sent nearly 200
patients to the next world.
Shipman, a family GP working in
Hyde, Manchester, is thought to
have killed 218 patients with lethal
injections of diamorphine between
1975 and 1998, when he was
finally apprehended.
Majority of people strongly
opposes euthanasia, which
also considers suicide. A
person can not manage a
human life – only GOD
(He gave He took). So you can
roll on an inclined plane .
At firs we :
• Allow euthanasia
• Then encourage suicide
• And then justify the murder

Only GOD can take life!

Crucial issue

It is known that many feel

great relief if their suicide
attempt was unsuccessful but
we can not question the
victims of euthanasia if they
regret their decision.

QUESTIONS
1. While alternative treatments are available, such as palliative care abd
hospices, is eutanasia the only way?
2. Would doctors be imposed on a duty to kill people?
3. Would eutanasia put pressure on vulnerable people to end their lives
for fear of being a financial, emotional or care burden upon others?
4. Is euthanasia really compassion?
5. Does the government have the right to make people suffer?
6. Could euthanasia be used as a means of health care cost
containment?
