If there is a relationship between restaurant managers’ emotional intelligence and the variance in the voluntary employee turnover rate. 2. If there is a positive relationship between restaurant managers’ emotional intelligence and extrinsic reward usage. 3. If there is a positive relationship between restaurant managers’ emotional intelligence and extrinsic reward usage. 4. If reward usage does moderate the relationship between restaurant managers’ emotional intelligence and the voluntary employee turnover rate. Significance 1. Emotional Intelligence and the Moderator Effects of Extrinsic and Intrinsic Rewards on Voluntary Employee Turnover Methods and Methodology The study utilized a quantitative, non-experimental and exploratory design by distributing structured survey questionnaire. The sampling technique used for the selection of the respondents is systematic random sampling. Eleven respondents from each branches participated in the survey.
