printing, the company was founded in 2007 and this is the 12th year the
company is engaged, the company is located in Jl Panjaitan complex
Kawasaki dealers city of Gorontalo
• PURPOSE
The purpose of making a report entitled "Making ID Card" is as
follows:
1. To find out, understand how to make ID cards
2. to find out, understand the work process in making ID cards
3. As the author's experience in compiling a report of the work
that has been carried out
 The process of making ID cards is based on the following stages of
activity:
 Make a Design Image in accordance with the Design Brief
 Printing
 Completion / Finishing
 • Make a design image in accordance with the brief design
The Brief Design is the design desired by the Customer or
Consumer who will make the ID Card. Making ID Card design is
done using a computer with a graphics program in this case the
program used is Corel Draw. Making a design with a computer, will
obtain maximum results in accordance with the order. This design
process is a very important step because if our settings are wrong it
will certainly make the results not good, some important points to
note are:
 The size of the ID Card material is 200x300 mm, so
adjust the computer settings using this size. ID Card
consists of 2 faces (reciprocity), typing on the front of the
position is different from the back. For example for the
front of the sequence as shown below.
Then typing on the back becomes like the picture below.
The Corel Draw application method in designing is:
the first step is to turn on the computer, then click star
select the Corel Draw program, after the Corel Draw program is
open then we start designing by making a box first using the
Restangel Tool, Click on the Restangel Tool, then for our
Beackground Click the file select Import, then find the image that
we will use. after that click on Effect then select Powerclip and
choose Plase Inside Countainer, to insert the picture into the box,
click on that box. Then click Import again to take a photo after that
make a small box and then enter the photo in the same way. After
that click the Text Tool to make a Name.
Now the results will look like the image below.
PRINTING
After the Design Brief is finished, it is printed on the Hvs paper
to be asked for approval of the order of the design that has been
produced, both in terms of pictures, writing, color, color brightness,
composition and others. Noteworthy in this process are: ID Card
material sheets are divided into 2 parts, namely parts which can be
printed and parts that cannot be printed. The part that can be printed
is usually coarser and not shiny, while the part that can't be printed
is smoother and looks to reflect light. Designs that are ready to be
printed on the ID Card must be printed on the Horizontal Mirror
both face and back. For example the face after the Mirror.
the next step before printing the ID Card design is arranged in
advance as many as 5 (five) lines in 2 (two) rows. Because each opaque
paper can be printed as many as 10 ID Cards. Next install the top
opaque paper to print the top design and the bottom opaque to print the
bottom. Before printing an image or image must be terrorized first. To
produce these prints or print orders. Click the file select print, then set
the paper size to be used ie A4. then choose the type of printer then
click Ok. The tools used are: a set of computers and color printers or
EPSON STYLUS C90 printers.
