Wockhardt Hospitals existence is the result of a 40-
year tradition of caring and innovation nurtured by
Wockhardt Ltd

It is India’s 5th largest Pharmaceutical and Healthcare


Company with a presence in 20 countries across the
globe.

The group has a PAN INDIA presence.

Wockhardt Hospitals has partnerships with the


following insurance companies and Third Party
Administrators (TPA).

Wockhardt Hospitals currently runs 7 hospitals located at


Nagpur, Nashik, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Vashi and Goa.

• STAFFING
1. Presently they have a staff of 180 people.
2. Mostly they are from age group between 26-36 years.
3. Wockhardt also provide daily 2 hours training to every nurses.
4. Three shifts are going on in Wockhardt - morning (8:00am to
2:00pm), evening (2:00pm to 8:00pm) and night (8:00pm to
8:00am).
5. Every staff has to complete 48 hours i.e. each staff has to do 2
shifts every month.
• DIRECTING
Directing is all about guiding, supervising and motivating subordinates.

To keep employee motivated Wockhardt provides different awards to their staff on


monthly basis like-

 1 service excellence
 3 nurse of the month
 3 special recognisation awards for the cleaners, sweepers etc

FUTURE PLANS
• By 2011, 4 new hospitals will be commissioned at South
Mumbai, Bhopal, Patna and Jabalpur.

• Aiding Wockhardt globalization plans are its fourteen world-


class manufacturing plants in India, France, UK, Ireland and
US. In addition to this are the dedicated complex (comprising
six facilities) at its Biotech Park, and its state-of-the-art
research laboratories.

• Wockhardt Technical Development programmer

• Giving the sales team a competitive edge by 2011


FINAL FOOTAGE
 
• Outsourcing is avoided to reduce menace of spurious drugs.

• Their main motive is Profit i.e. according to them this hospital is only for Corporate
Business purpose.

• Financial condition is not good of the hospital.

• No plans for further development in Surat.

• The building on which it is constructed is on Lease.

• Wockhardt at Surat is only for Heart Diseases.

• Full freedom to work.
