Introduction
Pakistan is the second largest Muslim country in terms of
population (behind Indonesia), and its status as a declared
nuclear power, being the only Islamic nation to have that
status, plays a part in its international role. Pakistan is also
an important member of the organization of the Islamic
Conference(OIC).
Pakistan had strong relations with United Arab Emirates. It
was a member of the CENTO and SEATO military alliances.
Pakistan has a close relationship with Turkey.

the moment
Relationship of both now-a-days
Pak-Bangladesh relations
On 16th December,1971 a separate country came into
being with the name of Bangladesh while the West
Pakistan was renamed to Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In the first period of Benazir Bhutto the relations
between Pakistan and Bangladesh started getting better.
In 1999 President of Pakistan Pervaz Musharraf visited
Bangladesh and tried to start a new age of relations
between both countries.
Now the relations between both countries are better than
before, but there is no warmth in the relations which
should be seen between two brother Muslim countries.
Some agreements are recently executed between Pakistan
and Bangladesh.
Export commodities like Opium, fruits and nuts, hand-
woven carpets, wool, cotton, hides and pelts, precious
and semi-precious gems.
Relations with Turkey
Turkey is another Muslim country
Turkey has always supported Pakistan in every situation
Turkey established diplomatic relations with Pakistan in
1947
Both countries have cultural, religious and geographical
links.
Both have great contribution in the multilateral
arrangements of CENTO, RCD, ECO etc.
In 2005 Kashmir earthquake, Turkey stepped up its efforts
to help the Pakistani people of the affected areas.
President Zardari visited Turkey in 2008. Turkish PM,
Mr. Erdogan addressed a joint session of two houses of
the parliament of Pakistan during his visit 2012.
Both nations have worked to negotiate on trading
agreement, aiming to increase trade and investments,
especially in transport, terrorism and other countries.
Pakistani exports include rice, sesame seeds, leather,
textiles, fabrics, sports goods, and medical equipment.
Relation with United Arab Emirates
Relationship between Pakistan and UAE are pleasant
UAE has established numerous organizations in Pakistan
UAE is playing important role in economical progress of
Pakistan
UAE played an important role for decreasing anxiety
with India.
Relationship of both countries now-a-days.
Conclusion
The basic objective of Pakistan’s foreign policy is the
security of Pakistan’s ideology, working for Islam and
building of brotherhood amongst the Muslim nation.
Pakistan has always not only tried for building better
relations with Muslim countries but whenever there was
some risk of controversy amongst Muslim countries.
Pakistan has played a key role from past to present in the
unity and progress of Muslim countries.
