 Coverage Area: 32 villages in East & West Godavari districts of


Andhra Pradesh.

 established a broad band wireless network connecting about


32 villages centre and three towns in Krishna, East and West
Godwari district, with hub at Bhimavaram town.

Project Objectives:
 To provide virtual delivery of high quality healthcare,
education, livelihoods training, and agriculture related services
to people in rural areas.
The project has helped the rural people in the following areas:

 Telemedicine:
 tie up with hospital near by the town and Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore
 approximately 7000 patients receives consultation in Gynecology, Cardiology,
Orthopedic, Pediatric and General Medicine.
Education:
To provide high quality educational facilities to student.
To inculcate a scientific temper in students and nurture a healthy
scientific attitude to explore, experiment and experience science concepts
and thus fostering a rational approach through experiments.
To give additional capacity building to teaches workshops
Livelihoods :
 Tailoring, embroidery, fabric Painting, helps them to earn 500-1000 per month,
approximetly1200 women get benefited yet
V-Agri & V-Aqua:

Field officers make regular visits to fields/tanks and take digital pictures of
crops/fishes/prawns which are transmitted through the internet to agri/aqua
experts who analyze the images and expert advice is delivered through the field
officer to farmers on the same day.

Around 1000 agri and 400 aqua farmers have benefited thus far.
