Quick movement of the ball
Use of 1-2’s and overlapping
Good shooting from outside the box
SWOT Analysis
 Weaknesses
Bad marking with set pieces (ball watching)
Unsuccessful use of zone marking (2 goals
conceded from set pieces)
Too many players focus on opposition key
players (Messi) leaving other players free
 Opportunities
Asia is the up and coming power of football
 Threats
Other power football nations of the area
Summary
 South Korea
Played well but Argentina was better equipped
to defend and strike
They played with more confidence after closing
to 2 – 1
Their great asset is the pace in counter attacks
With a bit more luck ( side net shot ) the result
could have been quite different
Overall Argentina's class was too rich for them
and they where heavily punished by their
defensive mistakes
Thanks!!!!
