 OBJECTIVE OF THE CAMPAIGN

A massive Door to Door campain will be undertaken all over India,

highlighting 3 major issues and to explain the facts and details of those
significant issues, in order to create awareness among the people of our
country.
1. Campaign against "huge conspiracy" to defame RSS & 'Hindu' image by
coining the term "Hindu terror“ and to highlight the sinister designs of
the Congress behind this.

2. Explaining the people of India to urge the Union Government to pass

legislation in parliament so as to enable the construction of Grand Ram
Mandir at Janmasthan in Ayodhya.

3. Through the people of India, to reaffirm that J&K is an integral part of

Bharat and any challenge to that issue in the name of Azadi is nothing
short of treason.
 ABOUT RSS
1. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (Sangh or RSS as it is popularly
known) was founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshava Baliram Hedgewar (fondly
called as Doctorji) on Vijayadashami day.

2. RSS is one of the biggest voluntary organizations of the world having over
50 lakhs Swayamsevaks.

3. RSS presence is felt across the length and breadth of our country in
almost all cities, villages, talukas, panchayats, tribal areas, coastal regions
etc., with more than 60,000 branches (shaka).

4. RSS is engaged in nearly 1.75 lakhs service projects for common people
across India.

5. RSS also functioning in more than 50 countries across the globe.

6. RSS is engaged in uniting Hindu society and thereby is aimed at taking

Bharat (India) to its pinnacle of glory.

RSS ROLE DURING SINO-INDIAN WAR, INDO-PAK WAR AND EMERGENCY TIME

1. After earned recognition based on its volunteer work during the

Sino-Indian War in 1962, RSS was invited by Prime Minister
Jawaharlal Nehru to take part in the Indian Republic day parade of
1963.
2. RSS along with several other civilian organizations took part in the
Republic Day Parade.
3. Later in 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars too, the RSS volunteers
offered their services to maintain law and order of the country and
were apparently the first to donate blood.
4. RSS played significant role in protesting the EMERGENCY declared
by then PM Smt.Indira Gandhi, by organizing Satyagraha and Jail
Bharo movements.
5. RSS during EMERGENCY said – “its platform at the moment has
only one plank: to bring democracy back to India"

 RSS – SELFLESS SERVICE DURING NATURAL CALAMITIES
RSS assisted in relief efforts quite extensively during the 2001 Gujarat
earthquake. Helped to rebuild villages.
RSS was instrumental in relief efforts after the 1971 Orissa Cyclone and the
1977 Andhra Pradesh Cyclone.
An RSS-affiliated NGO, Seva Bharati, has adopted 57 children (38 Muslims
and 19 Hindus) from militancy affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir to
provide them education at least up to Higher Secondary level.
Also taken care of many victims of the Kargil War of 1999.
Seva Bharati conducted relief operations in the aftermath of the 2004 Indian
Ocean earthquake. Activities included building shelters for the victims,
providing food, clothes and medical necessities.
RSS assisted relief efforts during the 2004 Sumatra-Andaman earthquake
and the subsequent tsunami.
In 2006, RSS participated in relief efforts to provide basic necessities such as
food, milk and potable water to the people of Surat, Gujarat who were
affected by massive floods in the region.

JAMMU AND KASHMIR – THE REAL STORY
 JAMMU AND KASHMIR – HISTORICAL FACTS
As per traditional Hindu scripture, Kashmir is the abode of the Goddess of
knowledge (Saraswati).
The students of the traditional Sanskrit schools by and large in their prayer
recite the verse:-
"Namaste Sharada Devi Kashmirapuravaasini, Tvamaham Prarthaye Nityam,
Vidyam Buddhim cha Dehi Me" ( Oh Goddess of knowledge Sharada, whose
abode is Kashmir. I pray, please bless me with knowledge).
A literary Sanskrit book - "Rajtarangini" written by Kalhan in between the
period 1147-50 AD and history of most celebrated Hindu kings namely
Lalitaditya of 7th century AD as well as Avantivarman of 11th century AD are
enough proofs that this state had a Hindu origin, which was gradually
islamised by foreign invaders after 13th century AD.
In 1540 Mirz Haidar, a relative of Humayun (of the Moghul invader dynasty)
conquers Kashmir. Kashmir gradually absorbed into Moghul Empire.
In 1810 Maharajah Ranjit Singh, one of the greatest rulers of India, regains
Jammu and appointed his Dogra feudatory Gulab Singh to rule the State.
 JAMMU AND KASHMIR – CERTAIN PERTINENT QUESTIONS/FACTS
It should be clear from the analysis of major events connected with Kashmir's
post-1947 history that there is an overwhelming need to learn from each and
every lapse and evolve a new framework of thought and action. Unfortunately,
no one is attending to this need.

What is worse, another “appeasement card” is being put forward in the form of
a political package and additional autonomy, without bothering to consider that
in the long run such a package and such an autonomy could provide strong
muscle to the forces of subversion and separatism in the Valley. Further, no one
is showing any inclination to raise certain basic and pertinent questions in this
regard.

Are the Kashmiris, like the citizens of the rest of India, not already free under the
constitution of India?

Do they not have all the fundamental rights which individuals in modern liberal
democracies enjoy?

Has their identity, culture, religion or language been undermined in any way by
the constitutional arrangements that have been in operation for the last several
decades?
 JAMMU AND KASHMIR – CERTAIN PERTINENT QUESTIONS/FACTS
Is there any accountability for the huge grant provided to the State
Government by the Central Government. From 1989-90 to 2009-10, a
whopping 95,000 crores was given as grant.
Kashmir enjoys more autonomy than any state in India but has the least
autonomy below the state level. A regional political imbalance persists and
is sought to be perpetuated by the embargo on delimitation of
constituencies.

For 49,725 voters, Kashmir has one MLA but Jammu has one MLA for 66,521
voters. This means that despite having 1,77,153 more voters, Jammu has
nine MLA less in the legislature than Kashmir.

Why is the Union Government always has 'internal dialogue' almost

exclusively with the leadership of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference based in
the Kashmir Valley. This, despite the fact that roughly 45% of the people of
Jammu & Kashmi are not 'Kashmiris' who live in the Kashmir Valley, but are
Dogras, Punjabis, Paharis, Bakarwals, Gujjars, Buddhist Ladakhis and Balti
Shias in Kargil.
 JAMMU AND KASHMIR – FACTS
While demanding 'azadi' for 'Kashmiris', the Hurriyat has been remarkably
reticent of what is happening in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Surely those
demanding 'azadi' should be asked whether their espousal of 'azadi' also covers
the people of Gilgit and Baltistan.
The Indian soldier is a citizen with equal obligations and the same rights as any
other Indian citizen – s/he is neither a 'slave' of the State or of the populace and
nor is she/he a robot, to be manipulated by the exigencies of politics or
populism.

The per capita net state domestic product as factor cost (at 1999-2000 prices)
was Rs.17,590 for J&K in 2007-2008, which is higher than of the Bimaru states
(Bihar, UP, MP, etc.).

The state received more money from the Centre than anyone else. In 2008-09,
out of a total revenue of Rs.19,362 crores, more than 70% came as grant from
the Centre. On the other hand, the urban property tax generated by the state in
2008-2009 was – hold your breath – a measly Rs.1 lakh (state budget
documents). Despite such poor tax collections, the state is not at the bottom in
terms of development indicators.

A few years back, an opinion poll conducted under the patronage of Lord
Avebury, a known British protagonist of Pakistan, found that only 6%
Kashmiris wanted to join Pakistan, 61% wanted to remain in India and 33%
were undecided! More recently, in May 2010, King's College of London
University, at the instance of the son of Col. Gaddafi of Libya, carried out
another similar survey in Kashmir. This survey found that only 2% of the
people of Kashmir wanted to join Pakistan.

In 1986 - In one of the most shameful acts of religious massacre, several

ancient historical Hindu temples are destroyed and scores of Hindus were
killed in the city of Anantnag. Chief Minister G. M. Shah looses power to his
brother-in-law Farooq Abdullah.

During 1990 – 2007: In a spate of terrorist violence, 35000 minority kashmiri

Hindus have been killed by Islamic fundamentalists and 700,000 Kashmiri
Hindus have been driven out of their homes. Pakistan’s involvement in this
carnage of violence is beyond doubt.
In Jan 26, 2011 – Constitutional right to hoist Indian Flag in Lalchowk was
denied by the elected government of Jammu and Kashmir, thereby
supporting the cause of separatists.

 RSS VIEW ON ALLAHABAD COURT VERDICT
Allahabad High Court Bench has decided Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas, Sunni
Wakf Board and Nirmohi Akhara as party in the ownership of land and
divided it amongst them.
Though all historical and archaeological evidences pointed towards
existence of a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the bench verdict to divide the 2.77
acre land into 3 parts leads to a sense of ambiguity.
RSS still believe that the final verdict from Supreme Court will be in favor of
the construction of Ram Mandir and also urges the union government
through the people of india, to pass legislation in parliament in favor of the
Ram Mandir Construction at Ayodhya.
RSS believes that, Building of the Ram temple signifies the identity, honour,
independence and valour of our country.
Sri Ram is the epitome of the eternal, inclusive, caring and tolerant culture
of our Bharat.
The movement for Ram Temple is not a reactionary one, nor is it against
any particular community.

BRIEF OF RSS GENERAL SECRETARY'S LETTER TO PRIME MINISTER
Deliberate attemps to distort, even pervert and politicise, the ongoing
investigations into the bomb blasts at Malegaon, Ajmer and Hyderabad and
to to cast false aspersions on RSS.
The Maharashtra ATS(MATS) has evidence in its possession to show that
the accused in the Malegaon blast case, Col Purohit and Dayanand Pandey,
were, simultaneously plotting to eliminate Shri Mohanrao Bhagwat, the
then Sarkaryavah of the RSS (current the Sarsanghachalak), and a senior
RSS leader Shri Indresh Kumar.
The fundamental question that arises, but not addressed, is: how could the
RSS be bracketed with those who were viciously hostile to it and conspiring
to kill its leaders?
Despite being in possession of such explosive, critical and specific evidence
of the plot the MATS took a “conscious decision” and told the Bombay High
Court in July 2010 that, as there was nothing 'specific', “no further action is
required to be taken” on the alleged plot to kill the RSS leaders.
Was the investigation aborted because the exposure of the plot would foil
any attempt to bracket the RSS with the Malegaon conspirators?

WE demand that the government institute an impartial and independent

inquiry into the hidden mission of Col Purohit, Dayanand Pandey and their
associates.
Given the hostility of the ruling party and the way the investigative
agencies have conducted the probe so far, no government agency today
has the credibility to undertake this task.
WE therefore urge that the inquiry should be independent. We trust that
the hon'ble Prime Minister will take a fair and objective view and order
impartial inquiry into:

(a) The plot to assassinate the RSS leaders

(b) Why did MATS suppress and not investigate that plot?
(c) What is the political role and agenda of Co Purohit, Dayanand Pandey
and their associates like Dr. R.P.Singh?
(d) Who were behind them in their mission?

 Muslims carry out ‘door-to-door’ campaign of RSS
Mohammad Wahid Chisti, leading a team of 15
Muslim youth, entered the Labyrinthian gullies of
Machchali Mohal, Model Town and Baeesi Masjid --
all predominantly Muslim pockets in Lucknow –to
inform his Muslim brothers, about the false
allegations made on RSS links with terror activities.
Leading the team along with Mohammad Afzal, national convener of
Muslim Rashtriya Manch Vibhag Pracharak, Lucknow, Dr Umesh Kumar
was happy with the development and said "Most of the Muslim brothers
are finding this an extremely stimulating experience".
Wearing khaki shorts, Kumar, walked the streets with patriotic Muslim
Youths.
Kumar was happy by the warm welcome given by the Muslim community.
"Over the past two days, we have already distributed 26,000 copies of the
booklets," he said.
‘Most of the recipients, willingly paid Rs 5 as the contribution money. Even
a Muslim pocket like this has earned us Rs 150, so one can imagine the
response’, he explained.
