All human greatness rolled into

The personality of Mohammad! It is most difficult to get into
the truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic
succession of picturesque scenes.
There is Mohammad the Prophet, there is Mohammad

Circumstances changed, but the prophet of God did not. In
victory or in defeat, in power or in adversity, in affluence or
in indigence, he is the same man, disclosed the same
character. Like all the ways and laws of God, Prophets of
God are unchangeable.

His Humility
Umar reported Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying, “Don’t
exaggerate in praising me as the Christians did in praising Jesus who was
raised to the status of Allah’s son. I am a servant of Allah; therefore call me a
servant and Messenger of Allah.”
Anas said that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) used to visit the sick,

accompany funerals, ride donkeys and accept the invitations of slaves. In the battle
of Banu Quraydha, he was riding a donkey whose bridle and saddle were made of
palm leaves. He also reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him)
accepted without hesitation invitations to dinners consisting of mere barley and stale
bread. Anas said that the companions of Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him)
loved him more than anything in the world, but still they did not stand up when he
came in for he disliked it. Again this shows his extreme humility in that he did not like
people standing up as they stood up for kings and rulers.
When his son Ibrahim died, by coincidence there was a solar eclipse on that day.
People thought that the heavenly bodies were also sharing in the grief of the
Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He at once gathered all the companions in
the mosque and addressed them saying, “O people! Know this, that the solar
eclipse is one of the signs of Allah. It does not occur because of the birth or death of
anyone.”

Loving the Messenger ...
Muhammad (pbuh) the Greatest
The one who recites Salawat ( Durood ) once Allah sends ten
blessings upon him , eradicates ten of his sins and improves
ten of his grades. (Mishkat)
On the Day of Judgement the nearest person to me, from amongst the
people, would be the one who would have recited Salawat the most in
this (mortal) world. (Tirmidhi) In the magnificent night of Friday (i.e.
the night between Thursday and Friday) and the luminous day of Friday
recite salawat in my favour abundantly, because your recited salawat
is presented to me (by the Angels). (Jamih us-Sahih)
Recite salawat on the day of " Friday " and the " Friday
Night " ( The night between Thursday and Friday ) excessively
because who - so - ever does that , I shall stand witness to him
and would be his advocate on the " Day of Judgement . " (Jamih
us-Sahih)
