Time Management

The Creation
•God does not procrastinate
• It is antithetical to his nature to procrastinate
•On one day he set aside time to make the things he created on
that day.
•He forethought something to make and then accomplished it
on that day.
•We are his creations and must reflect His nature. (Character
Development)
•We also need to accomplish our tasks in a set time what has
been given to us to.
•As students is this possible?

What is our Purpose
•Your Voice
•Your Time
•Your Influence
All these are Gifts to be used in winning souls to Christ.

“Everyone should study strict economy in the outlay of means

and should exercise even greater faithfulness in handling that
which belongs to another than he manages his own affairs.”
“There is no time now to fill the mind with theories of what is
popularly called higher education. The time devoted to that
which does not tend to simulate the soul to the likeness of
Christ is so much time lost for eternity. Shall we allow
unsanctified ambitions to take possession of the heart and lead
us to neglect the education required to meet the needs of this
day of peril.”
Unsanctified ambitions vs. Sanctified ambitions

Our ambitions must be very high

•Be the Best Lawyer

•Be the Best Doctor
•Be the Best Scientist
•Be the Best Teacher
•Be the Best Architect
•Be the Best Engineer

Need for souls = Likeness of Christ

“There is no time to engage in trifling amusements, the
gratification of selfish propensities. It is time that you are
occupied with serious thoughts. You can not dwell upon self
denying, self scarifying life of the world’s redeemer and find
pleasure in joking and jesting and wilding away your time in
foolishness.”

“I saw that we have no time to listen to fables while false

doctrine and dangerous teachings are impressed upon the
mind...”
“God has no use for lazy men, in his cause, he wants thoughtful,
kind and affectionate workers, indolence is prove of depravity.
Men who will unnecessarily take the precious hours of day light
for sleep; have no sense of the value of precious golden
moments.”

economy time, should have set rules to prompt them to
regularity and despatch.”

their task and make every move tell.”

“Many even in their season of devotion fail receiving the

blessing of real communion with God. They are in too great
haste. With hurried steps they press through the circle of
Christ lovely presence, posing perhaps a moment within the
sacred presence, but not waiting for council. They have no
time to remain with their divine teacher with their burdens
they return to their work.”
