 General Surgery
• Admitted cases : 150 cases
• Total Mortalities : 18 cases
• Operations done : 90 cases
e.g. explorations , colostomies, maxillofacial
surgeries.
• Vascular injuries : 29 cases e.g. brachial artery,
femoral artery and vein , popliteal artery and
vein
 Ophthalmology
• Total admissions : 144 rupture globe cases
• Bilateral : 9 cases
• Friday / Saturday ( 28th / 29th ) : 106 cases
 Neurosurgery
• Total admission : 57 cases
• Immediate mortalities : 21 cases
• Operations done : 31 cases
 Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Total admissions : 42 cases
• Mortalities : 14 cases
• Injuries : e.g. haemothorax , pneumothorax.
Gun Shots
 Mortalities (Total :48 cases)
• Immediate Mortalities: 33 cases.
• Mortalities without intervention: 5 cases.
• Operative Mortalities: 2 Cases.
• Postoperative mortalities: 8 cases.
