John Harvey Kellogg was a physician in the late 1800·s
and early 1900·s. He is better know for his famous
cereal, Corn Flakes. Kellogg invented the cereal as an
anti-masturbation/sex campaign. Believing that Corn
Flakes would lower your sexual desire. (Don·t worry it
doesn·t work)

Kellogg an advocate for sexual abstinence, devoted

large amounts of his medical and educational work to
discourage sexual activity.

Kellogg remained celibate his whole life, even through

marriage, he and his wife slept in separate beds, later
on they adopted 14 kids.

Also believed that sexual intercourse was the leading

cause of diseases, well before SëDS.

Around 150 years ago a man by the name of
Sylvester Graham lead America in its first health
food crusade. Graham, like Kellogg, believed that ill
health was due to sexual excesses(masturbating,
exotic dreams, or sexual intercourse more than once
a month)
Graham encouraged people from all over to stop
eating meat. He also believed that living a vegetarian
lifestyle would make you non-sexual. And came up
with the Graham Cracker. (which again doesn·t work)

@ People tend to become more accepting of a
sexual behavior when they learn that it is not
abnormal ² remember how you first felt when
you learned about ´Frenchµ kissing.
@ Some people worry about cleanliness, people
who are healthy and bathe regularly pose no
risk. Your mouth carries more germs than your
genitals do.
( /*0,,((/(

oral-genital sex; African Americans are the least
likely.

(if married) or improper.

romantic and emotional; where as men·s
fantasies are more explicit and visual.

people don·t accept it.

@ Each year there are approximately 19 million new SëD
(Sexually ëransmitted Disease) cases among people
ages 15-24.

@ 6nprotected Sex- although a condom isn·t 100% guaranteed. It·s the best way to
prevent an SëD or an unwanted pregnancy.
@ Multiple Partners- Simple math, the more partners you have the higher the risk
it is to catch a SëD. Or having sex with a ´high riskµ partner(a partner who is
having sex with multiple partners.)
@ Illegal drugs and Alcohol- people who use illegal drugs, might share needles with
other people, which gives the risk of blood borne diseases such as
HIV/Hepatitis. And partners that use alcohol, might not care about using
condoms.
@ Living in a community with high prevalence of SëD·s ² if you live in a high risk
community, you are at risk of getting a SëD anytime you have sex.
@ Serial Manogamy- Some people may only have sex with one person at a time,
but tend to have multiple relationships in a year. Getting to comfortable with
that person there having sex with, and stop practicing safe sex
(.00/
Believe it or not there is a such thing as
too much sex.

a person that is obsessed with sex. Sex
and the thought of sex tends to take
control of the persons mind and makes
