scandal involving six subsidiary factories run on
Saipan by the Tan Holdings Corporation.

were not right. As the
Company was not acting
ethically toward employees
as they didnǯt created any
occupational structure that
fairly and equitably
rewarded employees for
their contributions.
According to Änternational law of Labour
welfare maximum work time is 8 hours
but here we see that the employees were
working for 14 hours .

Health and safety at work, security and

fair pay all were missing which are basic
ethics in a business. Working condition
was poor. Drinking water was polluted.
Sanitary conditions were unhygienic.
The prime responsibility of any ethics
against his employees is to pay on time
and pay fair rates for the work done. But
here we see that in spite of working till 2
a.m. at night employees cannot demand
any increment in salary.
Moreover they were treated like captives
and kept in boundaries and were not
allowed to move out of the boundary.

They were actually abiding by the laws but the point that
has to be noted here is that the laws were not correct that
could be implemented .
