Problem
Panadura Base hospital is one of the main hospitals in
Western Province of Sri Lanka.
But there is no proper way of keeping records about these
movements & treatments.
Solution
The Solution is a Local Area Network for the hospital
premises.

Main Aspects
What is a Local Area Network (LAN)?
 A network that covers a small physical area.
What is meant by IP Addressing?
Every machine on the Internet has a unique identifying
number, called an IP Address.
 E.g.: 216.27.61.137
Network Address Translation(NAT)
hides an entire IP address space
 implemented in a routing device that
uses stateful translation tables
