(1) To be introduced with CLP program in Bangladesh
(2) To know the Socio economic conditions of Chars People
in general.
(3) To know the poverty reduction strategy of the vulnerable
groups living in the reverine islands.
(4) To know the activities of LO in CLP program

(6)To adopt own self for working in the remote area.

Development & Cooperative division, LGED Ministry of Bangladesh Govt.
& implimeted through Maxwell Stamp PLC, a London-based international
economics consultancy Org.
 IMO Org. (Local): 19, GUK on of them in Gaibandha District which
cover Jamuna Bank region of this Dist.
 Head Quarter (BD): RDA campus, Bogra
 Time Duration: 1st Phase- July’04 to June’10 and 2nd phase- April’10 to

 Base Area: Chars Region of Brahman putra, Tista & Jamuna River.
 Working Area: 668 Chars (Both Island & Bank Chars) of 150 Unions
under 28 Upazilla of 5 Districts (Kurigram, Jamal pur, Gaibandha, Bogra &
Shirajgong (Phase-1) going on to expand in Rangpur, Nilphamary,
Lalmonirhat, Pabna & Tangail in 2nd phase. (North west Areas of BD)
