The Middle Tennessee Industrial Association has deemed the Lewisburg Business Park a Certified Deal Ready Site one of 35 in Tennessee and one of 12 in Middle Tennessee. Deal Ready means the Lewisburg Business Park has everything an industry needs to come in and start doing business.
This will enable Marshall County to increase the gain of Competitive Matching Grants by $10,000. It will also reflect reductions in our local matching grants in the cities from -2% to -3% and county from -4% to 6%. It will also increase our CDBG Loan Limits by $25,000. Marshall County was one of 19 counties in the state to receive this highest level.
Meaning that each new job created will receive $4,500 in tax credits with a 15-year carry forward, plus an additional 5 years at $4,500 in tax credits per job with no carry-forward when 25 or more new jobs are created.
