Tetanus toxoid immunization Given to pregnant childbearing age women To prevent opthatmia neonatorum in newborn and tetanus to mothers Fully immunized mother (FIM) 2 doses during pregnancy 3 booster doses (given in three consecutive years)

Micronutrient Supplementation To prevent anemia, vitamin A deficiency, and other nutritional disorders Vitamin A 10,000 IU twice a week on the 4th month of pregnancy Not given before the 4th month, will cause congenital problems on the baby Iron Given daily
