The Nu Flow Advantage

Traditional Pipe Repair
Highly disruptive to tenants / owners Requires repair / reconstruction to return property to original condition Not a long-term solution (problems will return)

Nu Flow Rehabilitation
Less disruptive and faster than traditional pipe repair or replacement Avoids destruction of buildings, hardscapes and landscapes and associated reconstruction costs Long-term solution to prevent future problems Solves the most challenging pipe situations

Involves demolition to access pipes Trenchless and no-dig solutions

Not feasible for inaccessible pipes

Nu Flow Advantages
Roughly 50% of the cost of traditional pipe replacement About 50% of the time vs traditional pipe replacement.

Able to provide a solution when pipe replacement is prohibitively expensive/impossible.

Increases system efficiency and reduces energy costs for related pumps and compressors Minimal disruption to building occupants/ processes Avoids destruction of buildings, hardscapes and landscapes and associated reconstruction costs Longer life expectancy than new pipes Solves the most challenging pipe situations

Green benefit: 100% reuse of mechanical system (minimal waste)

Structural Pipe Lining

Nu Flow Pull-in-Place Structural Liners

In-Place Pipe Retrofitting Using Trenchless and No-Dig Technology in Buildings and Underground

Drain and Sewer Pipe Rehab

Usage of Drain/Sewer Pipe Lining Technology
Piping systems from 1 - 8 diameters above and below ground can be internally cleaned and epoxy lined.

Sewers Gas pipelines Chemical / industrial pipelines Straight pipelines Pipelines with bends Circular pipes Non-circular pipes Pipelines with varying cross-section Pipelines with lateral connections Pipelines with deformation On-line replacement Pressure pipelines Man-entry pipelines

Pipe Lining Process

1. 2. Identify the Problem by Sewer Camera Clean the pipes
The first step is to clean out all roots and descale any calcite, etc. in order to return the pipe back to its original functioning diameter. To do this we either jet the lines or use pneumatic tools such as the scorpion cutter shown in the video above.

3.

Install the liner

The length of liner needed is cut, a custom two part epoxy is mixed and poured in to permeate the felt liner. The saturated liner is then pulled in place, the bladder is inflated and the curing begins. Once the epoxy lining has cured, the bladder is extracted, leaving a complete structural pipe within a pipe.

4.

Insuring Quality

To insure that the job has been performed perfectly, a camera is done to inspect the work and you receive a copy of this as well.

Pull-in-Place Lining Benefits

Nu Flow offers truly no-dig technology saving the customer thousands of dollars in labor and restoration Seamless installation eliminates joints and increases flow Nu Flow lining conforms to standard and non-standard pipe shape and sizes from to 8" in diameter (controlled lengths 8 - 36)

Molds to host pipe, stops leaks and root intrusion and can span void pipe sections
Can be installed under slab concrete from existing drain connection points and clean outs Laterals accurately reinstated with CCTV camera (no digging)

Sewer Main: Sarasota County

In 2003, Sarasota County was forced to haul 1.4 million gallons of excess ground water that had infiltrated their Sewage system at a single pump station. Since lining that neighborhoods mains and laterals the over flow problem virtually disappeared. The savings on overflow water treatment is in the MILLIONS for a SINGLE PUMP STATION. Sarasota County has between 40 and 50 active pump stations at any given time.

Epoxy Pipe Lining

Nu Flow Epoxy Coatings

In-Place Pipe Rehabilitation Using Trenchless and No-Dig Technology in Buildings and Underground

Pressurized Pipe Solutions

Nu Flow offers truly no-dig technology saving the customer thousands of dollars in labor and restoration versus a repipe Nu Flow epoxy coatings for pipes from to 8" in diameter Epoxy creates barrier between pipe and water extending the useful life of the pipe system to an estimated 50 to 100 years

Smooth finish increases flow through pipes

Prevents corrosion, scaling and leaks Can be installed from existing connection points to the pipe system Prevents metals from leaching into drinking water

Pipe Renewal and Coating Solution

Usage of Pipe Renewal and Coating Solution Piping systems from 8 diameters above and below ground can be internally cleaned and coated with Nu Flows patented epoxy. Potable water pipes* Heating and cooling pipes Process water pipes Roof drain piping Pool supply/drain pipes Compressed air lines Galvanized, steel, copper and lead pipes

* Potable water systems require epoxies that are NSF-61 certified by the National Sanitation Foundation.

Pipe Renewal and Coating Process

1. Prepare pipes
Faucets and fixtures are disconnected and using those existing connection points, the pipes are drained and dried with heated air.

2.

Clean the pipes

Using the same compressed air, the pipes are sand blasted to remove corrosion and rust and to prepare the inside of the pipes for epoxy coating.

3.

Install the epoxy

A patented two-part epoxy is mixed and blown into the pipes using compressed air. Using valves to control the process, the epoxy is spread to an even layer throughout the entire piping system.

4.

Curing and reconnection

The epoxy cures in 24 hours and the fixtures are reconnected and put back in service.

Epoxy Coating Benefits
