Clause 01.
Contractor is Responsible for Every Specification. In Case of discrepancy Engg. In Charge shall Decide (supply of Material)

Clause 02.
Exe. As Per Approved Drawings incl. Machinery and Best Workman Ship to be the best of their respective Kinds (Execution Of Work)

Clause 03.
Contractor should provide all the Drawings and Specifications incl. Permissions (Drawings & Specifications)

Clause 3a.
Contractor should not Sublet the works and a part thereof without conset (Sub-letting the works)

Clause 04.
Engg. Is the complete incharge of the site and his representative will have have access all the time (Control over Site)

Clause 05.
No alterations should be made by the contractor which is specified in the specifications (Specifications)

Clause 06.
The Engg. Will have all powers for alterations and modifications or additions to the specifications(Power to make alterations and Additions)

Clause 07.
Materials over the site is the considered the property of MHADA and it is not responsible for the losses (Materials on Site)

Clause 08.
Engg. Is the complete incharge for removal of materials in case of default (Removal and Substitution of Materials)

Clause 09.
Engg will be having full authority to take action on improper workmanship and materials(Action in case of Improper Work)

Clause 10.
The Engg. Will have all powers for notifying the soundness and quality of work before the S.D is refunded (Action and Comp. reg. Bad works)

Clause 10a.
Warranty should be given on the executed work for a period of 12 months after the completion date(Responsibility on Defect liability)

Clause 11.
Contractor is responsible for the fire accidents happening in the site (Responsibility of the contractor in case of fire Accidents)

Clause 12.
Engg will be having full authority to exe. Any work with consultants which are not included in the contract (Execution of work which is not. Incl. in Contract)

Clause 13.
Work Should be started after imm. After the mobilization payment and machinery advance

Clause 14.
Final Certificate will be given after the completion Certificate given by Engg. In charge

Clause 15.
Default from the Contractor

Clause 16.
97% will be paid after completion of work. And remaining 3% will be paid after submission of irrevocable Bank Guarantee

Clause 17.
Certificate of completion or progress shall be given by the Engg in Charge which is responsible for payments

Clause 18.
No compensation for alteration in or restriction of work to be carried all.

Clause 19.
Contractor is responsible for payments and compensation under the workmens Compensation act

Contractor is Responsible for Rendering the medical aid to the injured workman

Every fee should be paid by the contractor incl. royalties, octroi , duties etc

Work order book should be maintained and duly signed daily Contractor Should maintain Proper Office in Site Premises Clearance of the Site with No extra Cost Construction of site office with am area of 1000 Sft with Sanitary Fac. He Should provide proper furniture incl. of Sys.for the Use of MHADA He need to provide attendants for engg. In charge Own Arrangements for housing , Water Supply and sanitation Arran. Responsible for Health Department Provide Access Roads for easy inspection and for his Transport Own arrangements for Water Connections from Municipal Co. He is responsible to pay all deposits for obtaining approvals to temp. Wo. Also Responsible for Getting NOC from Water Supply Connection Should take appropriate insurance policy

Rate of construction as Rs. 824/ sft of Tenements Rate of construction as Rs. 805/ sft of Transit Tenements

RCC design shall be of appropriate seismic coefficient ( Relevant IS code). Factor shall be taken1.00
RCC shall be of IS 456-2000. RCC members shall be approved & certified by IIT Powai. Plumbing shall be for 6 Hr a day.100% standby separate electric motor of Appropriate HP shall be provided. Separate Water meter duly approved by by MCGM shall be provided for each UGT. Bitumen painting shall be done to RCC member below ground.

All precast components shall be cast at site of work only. If not casting may be done to any other suitable site under the supervision of MHADA staff.Rent towards land & cost of Transportation of components shall be borne by the contractor. External 23mm sand faced plaster in 1:4 CM in 2 coats externally with backing coat utilizing 2% WP compound.

Additional Specification : Crushed sand can be used. 7 years guarantee bond on stamp paper as per relavent PWD// IS specifications in W/P. Testing of Siporex Blocks will have to be carried out as per I.S. in IIT Powai / VJIT Mumbai at no extra cast to MHADA.
