A quasi judicial body established in 1972 under the

Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

A constitutional body established primarily to recruit persons

for various services and posts in the government.

It works under the provisions of the Article 137 - 141 of the

Constitution of Bangladesh and certain other rules and regulations made by the government from time to time.

Objective of BPSC

To

help Govt. to establish an appropriate civil service for the 21st century through selection of capable & efficient officials for the Republic who would be endowed with high level of integrity and dynamism.

Functions of BPSC
To conduct competitive examinations and/or interviews for direct

recruitment of persons in the government service.

To conduct psychological and intelligence tests for candidates who

qualify in the competitive examinations seeking selection to the various civil service cadres.
To conduct tests and/or interviews for promotion of government

servants from one service to another (from class II to class I);

To select candidates from among the serving temporary government

servants for appointment to permanent posts;

1st step In this stage we will create an

option the existing PSC website and in this will make an option named BCS circular and recruitment.

In this category the PSC will provide

circular for BCS exam and hear all the rules and regulation will be published.

2nd step In this step we will create a candidates database system here all the candidate information will be recorded. There will be opportunity of uploading the scanned copy of all the academic Certificates . Candidate will also be able to upload the scanned copy of draft order which they paid as per the provision of BPSC. After completing all the requirements the candidate will press the SUBMIT button indicated at the last.

4th step After the above steps the PSC will take the

information from the candidates database to make the seat plan for the preliminary exam and after that the date of the exam will be fixed

5th step After the above step the result of the

preliminary exam will be published to the site. And in the same time the date and seat plan for the written exam will be published for the candidates who are qualified for the written exam. exam date and the seat plan of the written exam and viva voce will be published.
