DISHA
DISHA EK MOUKA is a livelihood generation programme aimed

at creating 1000 jobs annually in the region. This income generation reinforces the crucial link that social empowerment is not possible without economic empowerment and vice versa. Training under Disha, targets achieving a synthesis of theoretical knowledge, skill practice and personality development. Students undergo specialized skill training in Basic Computers, Customer Relations and Sales, Hospitality, Bed Side Patient Assistance and Call Centre Training. DISHA- Ek Mouka, has proved to be a grand success with the placement of 1700 students in various outlet of the companies like, Mc Donalds, Idea cellular, Ansal Plaza and so on. More than 110 villages of Noida and Greater Noida has been covered under the ambit of Disha- Ek Mouka.

E-Shiksha
E-SHIKSHA is a unique initiative of MBT to expand

computer literacy among school students hailing from the underprivileged backgrounds. This 3-months course was implemented in partnership with Microsoft and has been modified w.e.f. September 2009, in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation. In its year of inception, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Inter College, Surajpur, provided a room for running the classes and also modified their class timetable to facilitate computer training for some keen school students.

Vocational Training
VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE provides skill training to

young girls and women in tailoring & mehendi. This programme aims at empowering women by facilitating capacity development and promoting new skills by which they could generate self employment and engage into entrepreneurship in the future.
The course is certified from Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Ministry

of Human Resource Development. Since its inception, in October 2008, 76 Girls have benefited from this initiative and 38 girls are currently enrolled in tailoring and Beauty culture &healthcare course.

# PROJECT TALEEM(A literacy Initiative) is MBTs flagship programme on empowering youth, especially girls, with the power of word. The aim of this initiative is to raise the overall educational status of Kakrala and Aagar villages and reform the culture of the community by generating awareness on the importance of education, thereby ensuring responsible citizenship.

# SHGs & livelihood Moser Baer (MBT) is committed towards women empowerment in addition to literacy and vocational training for them. MBT has facilitated 12 SHGs covering 142 marginalized women which are now being linked up with various government schemes and also with garment export houses to generate employment for these groups. Till date, over Rs. 1,00,000 have been saved by these women from which they are availing credit facility also. # Paper Recycling Project This unit is being run by women hailing from socially and economically disadvantaged groups, who were trained to operate and run the unit, These women earn a decent income with dignity and ensure fundamental sustenance of their families. The unit is now into the mode of production of paper and paper products from recycled waste

Daily Free Medical Services in surrounding villages of Kakrala, Aagar

Tilapta, Surajpur and Nagla. On an average, 60 patients are attended to per day. Free health services for unorganised labour and their family members. Referral to speciality hospitals and costs of treatment taken up by the Moser Baer Trust Community participation as villagers have themselves provided space and infrastructure. Strong linkage with District Health Services, synergy with Government PHCs.

Moser Baer is an ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2008 and SA- 8000 certified company, and is fully committed to develop and operate a safe, healthy and clean environment to protect vital human resources, plant, machinery and the environment from the hazards and risk. work practices for prevention of Pollution and resources conservation, the company saved 27.86 Million unit of energy during 2008-09 which reduced 9680.86 tons of Carbon dioxide gas generation, thus intangible impact on global warming could reduce. The company overall saved 15570 Keekar trees through in-house recycling/reusing wood pallets for product packing.
