• Vandal resistant and outdoor versions can be used where
extreme conditions or exposure to harsh environments exist
• Vandal resistant domes are also suitable for transport
applications (buses, trains, trams etc.)
• HyperD Domes can be used for high contrast scenes, where
internal cameras view entrances or glass frontages, typically
encountered in retail and banking, or a commercial reception
area

preferred to a mini dome
• Use the Day/Night Range for 24hr surveillance or a site
requiring IR illumination
• HyperD cameras for high contrast scenes (such as traffic

Domes and Cameras
• Produces perfect pictures in areas of high contrast e.g. reception /
entrance areas

• Consistent, natural colour – accurate white balance
• Details of a person’s face can be clearly seen, even when backlit

Conventional Camera HyperDome

HyperD Applications
• Indoor - in high contrast scenes, such as looking towards
windows and doorways in offices, warehouses, shops,
banks, airports etc.
– When trying to view people entering or leaving buildings.
• Outdoor - where camera positioning is susceptible to
unavoidable glare due to sun or artificial lights
– When viewing traffic
• Where colour recognition is required in varying light
conditions
– Identifying vehicles, colours of gaming chips or bank notes
