Methodology
• Data Mining:
– Currently shows a link between low-income
neighborhoods and low levels of social capital
(Kretzman and McKnight 1993)
• Focus Groups:
– 2 group sessions
– 20 people per session

• Survey:
– 756 individuals (10% of population)
