ANDRE TAN
TM Andre Tan was registered in 2000. The founder of TM is young designer Andre TAN who
created the most known Ukrainian brand from the trade mark. Andre TAN has won ten prize-
winning places of Grand prix by taking part in lots of international competitions presenting his
collections on Ukrainian and Russian fashion shows. Among them – practice in fashion house
“Olga & Simonov”, training certificate in “Hugo Boss” and training grand in prestigious
college St. Martins College of Art (London). College is proud of such graduates as John
Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney. According to the results of competition “10 x
10” – “Kiev podium” festival Andre TAN was awarded by Paco Rabbane. After the fashion
show “Sight from outside” Andre TAN was invited to lectures of well known fashion historian
Alexander Vasiljev.
After Andre TAN has received manufacturing marketing experience from the most known
persons of modern fashion he has returned to Kiev and found ANDRE TAN studio. Here he
could successfully apply experience of European colleagues in technology of fabric processing
and complex cutting. For this year all Ukrainian celebrities were served by Andre Tan. Ruslana
ordered Andre TAN’s clothes during The Eurovision 2006 in Ukraine. The finalists of “Miss
Europe 2006” competed for a crown in clothes by Andre TAN and Roberto Cavalli. Anastasia
Volochkova and Christina Orbakajte have bought some Andre TAN’s clothes after the “Ballet”
collection presentation at Moscow Fashion Week.
In Ukraine Andre TAN considered as an expert of fashion and at least European level
discovery.
The shows of designer was visited by the first lady of Ukraine, Olympic champions Lilia
Podkopaeva and Ekaterina Serebrianskaja, singers Ruslana, Tina Karol and Ani Lorak and
many other.

The collection “Futurism” was presented by top-model Snezhana Onopko, last Ukrainian
Fashion Week, who opened shows of Alexander Mc Q, Gucci, Louis Vuitton e. t. c.

Andre TAN is noted by experts and fans of fashion on every European and world fashion
shows.
At Berlin exhibition Premium Designers Award 2006 ANDRE TAN won 1st place for the best
women clothes and outstripped Christian Lacroix. Andre Tan was the only one Ukrainian
fashion trade mark presented on Hong-Kong Boutique Fashion World.
The same way as Marc Jacobs established grange style and Stella McCartney - vintage, ANDRE
TАN presented on “Fall Winter 2006-2007” Smart Couture direction.
According to the designer this style is focused on succeeding women with the harmonious
internal world. Recommended classics and complex cutting are the components which have
allowed to sell Smart Couture things in Paris on Georg V.
In multibrand boutiques Andre TAN’s clothes were represented together with such world wide
known designers as Lanvin, Barbara Bui, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alaї and others.
The success of fashion shows supported by geographical expansion of trade mark. Today
boutiques of Andre Tan brand was presented in Kiev, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg
and starting from autumn – in Berlin.
Andre TAN has created new consumer market in Ukraine and Russia – required by fashion.
Every new collection by Andre TAN is a reflection of the certain philosophical true: “We are
observed from outside”, “Sight from Outside”, “Smart Couture” etc.

Andre TAN has huge prospects for expansion. The
start of more democratically line a. TAN by Andre TAN,
Andre TAN shoes, Andre TAN sport, Baby TAN is
planned. Specially for a. TAN by Andre TAN line 10
boutiques will be opened in Ukrainian cities-millioners.
This decision was dictated by the increasing interest of
average customer. Working with one target segment
brand has got a lot of admirers in the other one.
TAN by Andre TAN will be sustained according to
principles of Smart Couture but more comfortable,
casual and cheaper. It is easy to populate 2nd line
