What We Do
Promote learner friendly inclusive environments by effective community participation and active learning methodologies Creating sustainable programmes through building capacities of the education system, and using our projects as pilots to demonstrate best practices

Our Goal
To increase the chances of survival of children between the ages of 0-5 years of age To reduce levels of malnutrition and under nutrition in children To improve new born and maternal health To steer the behaviour of communities towards better child health and nutrition practices

Child Centred Disaster Risk Reduction


Our Goal
To increase preparedness of children and their families for emergency situations in the aftermath of natural disasters through child centred and community based approaches To manage disasters better To minimise the impact of natural disasters to communities in disaster prone areas

What We Do

We work to ensure that We work in disaster prone child centred disaster risk communities to ensure that reduction (CCDRR) is they are prepared to deal mainstreamed into education with a natural disaster curriculum before it occurs again We negotiate with Government of India ministries and nodal institutions at national, state, district, panchayat and village levels to integrate child centred disaster risk reduction in disaster risk management (DRM) policy and planning

Emergency Response

We distribute relief supplies during emergencies and assist with long term rehabilitation efforts We operate child friendly spaces supporting childrens psychological needs as well as carrying out nutritional and healthcare assessments. We ensure that children are able to continue with their schooling by providing them with a safe space to learn in the aftermath of disasters. We also protect children from being trafficked for commercial sex work and child labour.
