INTRODUCTION

Normally people ignore the oral care as they believe that it

is not so important as even the mild fever is important but it is there wrong notion . Infact the dental care is most important as most of the diseases of the body are linked with it and if we ignore it we are inviting many unimanagible fetal diseases . The present paper aims at explaining the oral connection not only with the different parts of the body, but also with the diseases which are caused by ignoring the dental care .

Diabetes

has emerged a very dangerous disease as it affect the entire body slowly and stilthly in an adverse cray and brings the victim on the bring of death thats why it is called silent killer . Dental care is particularly important for peoples with diabetes because they face a higher then normal risk of oral health problems due to poorly controlled the blood sugar . is a time of great change in the body including the mouth. Shifting hormones and increased plaque production can lead to inflammation ,bleeding and periodontal diseases particularly if oral health is poor . Harmful bacteria from oral infection can be then affect the health of the growing baby and cause premature labor , low birth weight or other maternal problem.

care has a positive effect on the heart disease the reason is very simple the poorly dental care affects the heart,arteries blockers and other things relating to heart in a negative or adverse way,that may create a hazard of heart problem too. The neglegence while taking care of tooth will help the bacteria present in infected gum to become loose and move throughout the body.

There

is a possibility of bacteria to reach the artery and irritate it in the same way as they do with the gum tissues. It will cause arterial plaque to build up in the arteries. This accumulation of bacteria may cause arteries to harden. It will result in restricting the blood flow and potentially culminate in heart attack or stroke.

Contrary

to it,if we take proper oral care or dental care these syndrome will not develop and heart will be protected from the bacterias of the gum tissues as they will be either killed or not allowed to develop in the tooth and gums.

the basis of our discussion,it can be said that it is very important to keep our mouth healthy by taking proper oral care from the very beginning. It will be a preventive measure against diabetes,heart attacks etc.

your teeth twice daily. Floss once a day,or more often if you eat sticky food or food that can lodge between your teeth. Eat a healthy diet and limit between meal and snacks. Have dental check up twice a year.

GOALS OF NATIONAL ORAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAMME


To

bring down the incidence of oral and dental disease to less than 40% from the existing prevalence. To reduce high prevalence of periodontal disease to lower prevalence. At the age of 18yr,85% should retain their teeth. To achieve 50% reduction in edentulousness between the age of 35-44yr. To achieve 25% reduction in the present level of malocclussion and dento-facial deformaties.
