Activity; Your EMB is considering changing Voter registration System As part of this process you are responsible for developing a Needs Assessment for your EMB to identify the weakness and strengthens of your Voter Registration System

Aim of the game is to register as many voters as possible with 100 % accuracy in 10 minutes. Two Groups: Each groups nominates a Supervisor and two registration officers Voters fill in the forms and then the race starts

Voters queue up Registration officers will start registering as fast as possible Supervisors observe

At the end of the 10 minutes ask the Registration officer to deliver the completed register Supervisor checks accuracy and count the number of properly registered voters, properly recorded rejections The Group with highest number of correctly registered voters is the winner !

The Republic of green horns has recently ended a 15 year civil war. The country has a population of 20 million voters according to recent census results. There is a high level of illiterate voters living in the rural set up. The country s parliament has recently passed an elections law on periodic voter registration, exhibition period of 30 days, objection and challenging of the voters roll.
