smoking raises your blood pressure and makes your heart beat faster. It may not be a concern now, but it puts you at the risk for cancer and heart disease later in life.

Smoking causes more deaths every year than alcohol, car accidents, AIDS, suicide, homicides, fires, cocaine/crack and heroin combined. Over 440,000 people die each year in the united states from smoking cigarettes. 3,000 teen start smoking each day. Of the 3,000 children who smoke their first cigarette:  23 will be murdered  30 will be killed in traffic accidents  Nearly 750 teens will die from smoking related diseases.
