Lets be Judgmental
 The Bible speaks of different judgments on various times and involving separate subjects:
 Christians at the judgment seat of Christ (II Cor. 5:10) for their bodily labour (5:9) immediately after the Grand Reunion in the air (I Thess. 4:16-17);  Nations at the Second Coming just prior to the inauguration of the Millennial reign of the Son of Man (Matt. 25:31-46) on the Earth;  Dead people, small and great, before the Great White Throne (Rev. 20:11-15) while floating in space due to the vanishing away of the heaven and the earth;

 Dr. Cyrus. I. Scofield distinguishes seven (7) major judgments in the Bible:
 The judgment of the believers sins in the cross of Christ (John 12:31)  The believers self-judgment (I Cor. 11:31)  The judgment of the believers works (II Cor. 5:10)  The judgment of the nations at the return of Christ (Matt. 25:32)  The judgment of Israel at the return of Christ (Ezek. 20:37)  The judgment of angels after the one thousand years (Jude 6)  The judgment of the wicked dead with which the history of the present earth ends.

 The first catastrophic and plan-shattering judgment under the Kingdom Program of God proving the freewill of angels;  Gods first anointed King over the Kingdom of Heaven disqualified and banished from the Throne on Earth after his failed rebellion (Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek. 28:12-19);  Lucifers rebellion led to the creation of Man (Adam) as alternative King of the physical aspect of Creation (Psa. 8:3-8; Gen. 1:26-28);  Lucifers dethronement caused the Earth to become without form and void (Gen. 1:2) leaving the planet without lightbearers (Heb. 1:7, 13-14; II Kings 2:11; 6:17);  Lucifers judgment is definite and final: destruction in the lake of fire (Matt. 25:41) a place prepared especially for him and his angels (Gen. 1:1; Phil. 2:10; Rev. 5:13)

 Under Adam, the Kingdom Program was given a new chapter in progression yet, Adam fell in transgression because of the woman (I Tim. 2:14);  Satan therefore regained his control of the affairs of this world and thereby expanding his territory to include both the second and the first heavens (II Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2; 6:12; Col. 2:15);  Man, having been alienated from God, lost the image of God (Gen. 5:2) and became a slave of Sin and Death (Rom. 5:12-14; 6:23; 3;10, 23);  The Womans Seed (Gen. 3:15) that would bruise Satans head and be the Redeemer of fallen mankind was promised. However, Satan and his angels tried to abort the Promise by corrupting the daughters of men (Gen. 6:1-7);

 Relying exclusively on their conscience, mankind proved to be extremely corrupt and fell short of Gods standards (Gen. 6:67);  The Deluge wiped out mans civilizations that were tainted with Satanic infiltration. This is Gods judgment on a sinful world by water; the next and final cleansing will be by fire (Gen. 8:21-22; II Pet. 3:10-12; Isa. 54:9);  This judgment actually involved fallen men, beasts, and fallen angels. It was the first worldwide experiment on genetic manipulation (gigantism) and hybridization (mutation) on the face of the Earth.  Gods judgment caused four seasons (Gen. 8:22) to prevail on earth plus the inclusion of clean meat in mans dietary requirement (Gen. 9:3) and yet, without blood (Gen. 1:29; 9:4-6; Deut. 12:23; I Sam. 14:33; Lev. 17:10-16; Acts 15:20, 29).

 The judgment on Calvary is a Divine act of retribution (II Cor. 5:21; Gal. 3:13; Rom. 8:3; cf. Deut. 21:23) and of redemption (Heb. 10:12, 14; 9:12, 14, 22, 26; Rom. 6:23);  The failures of the First Adam were rectified by the Last Adam (I Cor. 15;47-49) thus obtaining and granting eternal redemption for us (Heb. 9:12);  Calvary opened the door to eternal life; it paved the way for mans future partaking of the divine nature (II Pet. 1:4) as a result of the earnest restoration of Gods image through regeneration (II Cor. 3:18; Rom. 8:29; I John 3:2; Eph. 4:24; Col. 3:10; John 3:3-8).  The Lords crucifixion cleansed and redeemed the sinner from sins and transformed him into a son (John 1:12; I John 3:1; Rom. 8:15-16; Gal. 4:5-6). The Father hath laid on him the iniquity of us all (Isa. 53:5-6) through substitutionary atonement (I Pet. 2:24; 3:18; Heb. 9:28; Rom. 4:25; 3:25; Gal. 1:4; )

 Calvarys judgment accomplished three major things:  Satan lost his power over death over Christians (Matt. 28:19; Luke 10:18-20; I John 4:4),  the believers sins were judged and born by the Savior (Isa. 53:10), and  the sin nature was likewise judged (Rom. 6:6-9; Gal. 5:24; 2:20);  Calvary gives the believer a new nature (Col. 3:10; Eph. 4:24), facilitating his translation from the power of darkness into the Kingdom of the Son (Col. 1:13) hence passing from death unto life (John 5:24);  Future sins of Christians were likewise crucified with Christ (Gal. 6:14; 3:27; Rom. 6:3-6; Col. 3:2-3; Eph. 2:6). Having been set free from the penalty of sin, the Christian shall be judged by the law of liberty (James 1:25; 2:12)

 The judgment seat of Christ is for the saved only; it is all about stewardship, sainthood, and sacrifice as the Lords ambassadors (I Cor. 3:11-15) and members of His Body (I Cor. 12:4-31; Eph. 4:11-13; Rom. 12:3-18);  It is neither a trial or testing to determine guilt or innocence; Calvary has declared the believer not guilty from sinfulness. This judgment is all about rewards for workmanship and walk as a sheep (Eph. 2:10; I Pet. 2:25; 5:4; Heb. 13:20);  This judgment begins when the Lord comes (I Cor. 4:5) in the air (I Thess. 4:16-17) to reward the sons of God based on their mastery of and faithfulness to the ministry (I Cor. 9:24-27; II Cor. 5:10; Rom. 14:10; Col. 3:24-25; Rev. 22:12). Otherwise, he shall suffer loss (I Cor. 3:15).  Lot, a just man (Gen. 12:4; 19; II Pet. 2:7), typifies Christians who suffered loss but was saved yet so as by fire.

Crowns of Service
 Crown of Life (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10). Reward for victory over things of the world unto death the martyrs crown  Crown of Glory (I Pet. 5:2-4). Reward for faithful oversight in any sphere of influence given us by the Lord  Crown of Rejoicing (I Thess. 2:19-20; Phil. 4:1). Reward for soulwinning; saved souls are likened to precious stones (Zech. 9:16; Mal. 3:17; I Pet. 2:5; Exo. 28:11).  Crown of Righteousness (II Tim. 4:8). Reward for loving and preparing for the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ  Crown Incorruptible (I Cor. 9:24-27; I John 2:28). Reward for keeping the flesh in subjection to the Holy Spirit (Rom. 6:16; 12:1)

Judgment of the Tribulation Martyrs

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Rev. 20:4) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? (Rev. 6:9-10) I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. (Dan. 9:13, 22, 27)

The Christian Inheritance

 A Christian is a son and a joint-heir with Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:17; Gal. 4:7; II Tim. 2:11-12; Acts 14:22);  Part of this inheritance is a glorified body conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:29; Phil. 3:21; I John 3:2; I Cor. 15:5152), and a glorious new home in the New Jerusalem (John 14:2-3; Gal. 4:26; Rev. 21:2);  The judgment seat of Christ, however, is done to measure our works (II Tim. 3:17; Tit. 2:7, 14; 3:8; Col. 1:29; Phil. 2:12-13; Gal. 6:710). Rewards are earned, not merely given as part of Calvarys salvation package.  Our labors determines the extent of our reign with Christ (Rev. 5:10; II Thess. 1:4-5; I Tim. 4:10; Rom. 8:17; Col. 3:24) because, like Esau, some Christians have already sold their birthright (Heb. 12:14-17; Matt. 6:1-6; Luke 14:14).

 The judgment of Israel stemmed from their rejection of the Godhead:  The Theocracy of the Father (I Sam. 8:1-20)  The Monarchy of the Son (Luke 23:18; John 19:15)  The Ministry of the Holy Ghost (Acts 7:51-60; Matt. 12:22-32) Provisions of the Abrahamic Covenant include the separation of Israel from idolatry to witness for the true God (Deut. 6:4; Gen. 26:3-4; 28:13-15) and to promote and preserve the Divine oracles (Rom. 3:2; Deut. 4:5-8; Rom. 2:1-2; 9:4-5). Yet, she committed spiritual whoredom (Jer. 3:6-12, 20; Hos. 4:12; 14:1-4; Ezek. 16:26-29) and thus was given a bill of divorcement by the LORD (Jer. 3:8);

 Israels return to the LORD from idolatry shall be accompanied by purging or passing through the rod (Ezek. 20:34-38; 22:19-22, 31; Zech. 14:1-11). This period of Israels trouble is called the Great Tribulation (Matt. 24:21-31; Jer. 30:4-7; Dan. 12:1); Israels history as the covenanted nation is decorated with failures: In the wilderness (Heb. 3:7-19) Under Joshua (Josh. 7-9) Under the Judges (Judg. 1-2) Under the Kings (II Kings 17:25) During restoration from the Captivity (Ezra 10; Neh. 13; Hagg. 1; Mal. 1:1 4:6) In the rejection of their Messiah and the gospel of the Kingdom (Matt. 5:20; 6:1-18; 11:20-27; 15:1-20; Acts 2:11-38; 22:1 28:24; John 5)

 Due to their repeated failures, the kingdom of God (Matt. 21:33-46) was taken from them; it was passed on to the Church (I Pet. 2:9; Luke 13:28); The nation is thus predicted to experience the abomination of desolation prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 23:37-39); Israel did not obtain the righteousness due her under the Covenants (Rom. 11:7) rather, the good olive tree (11:24) is grafted with wild olive branches; Partial blindness happened to Israel as a result of their rejection of the Messiah during the First Advent. This blindness continues until the Second Advent, passing through persecutions under the False Messiah (Dan. 9:27; Rom. 11:25)

 Israel, as a nation, shall be re-gathered prior to the Tribulation period (Ezek. 36:16-24; 37:21-23) and also after their persecutions during the Tribulation (Isa. 11:11-16; Ezek. 36:25-32) for the inauguration of the New Covenant with them (Jer. 33:3134; 50:4-5; Ezek. 11:19-20; Heb. 8:8-12);  Israel is the Lords inheritance (Deut. 32:9;Psa. 78:71; I Sam. 10:1; Isa. 19:25; Ezek. 48:29) yet during the Tribulation, two-thirds of re-gathered Israel shall be killed (Zech. 13:8) as a way of Gods purging (Ezek. 20:34-38; 22:19-22; Zech. 13:9; Mal. 3:1-3);  Mid-point of Tribulation, Israels remnant shall flee to the wilderness (Matt. 24:16; Hos. 2:14; Rev. 12:14-16) to be comforted and nourished of God for 3 years until the end of Tribulation (Isa. 26:20-21) as it was during the first time (Hos. 2:15; cf. Psa. 78; Isa. 33:13-17);  After the Tribulation, the entire nation of Israel will return unto the Lord (Jer. 50:4-7) and be born again as though a single man (Isa. 66:7-14; 44:21-22; 45:17-25)

Millennium

 This judgment of the (Gentile) nations is timed prior to the Millennium (Matt. 25:31-46); Israels judgment as a nation (Num. 23:9) is over after the Tribulation.  The judging shall be done once the Son of Man sits on the throne of his glory at Jerusalem. All nations shall be gathered at the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Joel 3:1-2), in the vicinity of Jerusalem;  The basis for judgment of the nations is their treatment of the Jews, the Lords brethren in the flesh (Gal. 4:4; Matt. 25:40; Zech. 2:8);  Nations shall be classified as sheep and goats and will be rewarded according to their relationship with the Jews during the Tribulation period, under the reign of the Antichrist (Matt. 25:32-34, 41-46). Goat nations shall cease as nations and wont get into the Millennium; they shall be cast into a furnace of fire (Matt. 13:38-42; 25:41, 46)

 Adams fall gave Satan the control over nations of this world (II Cor. 4:4). From the Second Heaven, he gives kingdoms to whomsoever he wills (Luke 4:6; Rev. 13:2, 7);  At Calvary, the world was purchased by the Lord with His precious blood (I John 2:2; John 3:16; Matt. 28:18; Col. 1:20) thus paving the way for the governance of the world to be put on the shoulder of the Messiah (Isa. 9:6; Rev. 11:15) in due time;  Near the end of the Tribulation, nations will be given the opportunity to obey the everlasting gospel (Rev. 14:6-8). Idolatrous nations shall then be baptized under the name of the true God (Matt. 28:19-20);  Israel is not counted among the nations of the world (Num. 23:9; Deut. 32:9); every nation has its own inheritance and boundaries (Deut. 32:8; Acts 17:26).

 After the failed rebellion of Lucifer, fallen angels continued their activity and observed hierarchy in the second heaven (Eph. 6:12; 1:21; 2:2; Col. 1:16);  To prevent the fulfillment of Gods promise of the Redeemer (Gen. 3:15), some of these left their first estate and gave themselves over to fornication and went after strange flesh (Jude 6; Matt. 24:38-39; Luke 17:26-29; Dan. 2:43). These fornicating angels are reserved unto judgment under chains of darkness (II Pet. 2:4);  Their judgment begins at the Tribulation (Rev. 9:1-11; 12:7-9) and will culminate prior to the inauguration of the Millennium (Isa. 24:21; Psa. 76:12). The Judgment of Christ empowers and qualifies Christians to pass judgment on the angels (I Cor. 6:3);  There will be no Devil and fallen angels during the Millennium! The world to come is not given unto them (Heb. 2:5); it will be a reign of righteousness (Rom. 5:21).

The throne of the Father is going to be transported from the Third Heaven to Earthly Jerusalem to formally inaugurate the Everlasting Kingdom on Earth.

 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. (Matt. 12:28-29)  This is a prophecy about the destruction of the Satanic hierarchy in the Second Heaven (the gods of the high places - II Kings 23:4-15; Ezek. 43:1-9; Eph. 6:12; Col. 2:15; Luke 10:18; 11:22; John 12:31). After which, the Son of Man shall be given dominion over all the kingdoms of this world (Dan. 7:13-14; 2:43-44; Rev. 11:15; cf. Isa. 24:21)  After the coronation at the Second Heaven, the Son shall descend to destroy all earthly powers allied under Satan and the Antichrist at the Battle of Armageddon (Matt. 4:8-10; Rev. 19:17-20; 16:14, 16; 17:9-13; Ezek. 39:18-20).  The times of refreshing (Acts 3:19) shall come and the restitution of all things (Acts 3:21) once the Lord descends on Mt. Olives (Zech. 14:1-4; Joel 3:11-14)

After the conquest of the principalities in the Second Heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ shall complete His domination over all thrones and powers by coming to Earth and reigning as KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS (Dan. 7:13-14; Rev. 19:16)

 This will be the culminating judgment for the old Creation, which Lucifer tainted with sin.  Dead people (outside of the first resurrection Rev. 20:5-6) and those who endured until the end of the Millennium shall be subjected to the Great White Throne Judgment.  This judgment is generally designed for the destruction of ungodly men (II Pet. 3:7; Rev. 20:11-15) although some righteous would still come out of it (Rev. 20:15).  The wicked will be judged to determine the degree of their punishment in the lake of fire, not on the possibility of gaining eternal life. Books will be opened to manifest and judge all of their works and idle words (Rev. 20:13; Matt. 12:36).  This judgment involves all the dead being held by Death and Hell (Rev. 20:11-14) to determine recipients of the second death in the lake of fire!

Characteristics of the White Throne Judgment

 A terrible fellowship of small and great people (Isa. 26:21; Rev. 20:12-13)  A magnificent judgment (Rev. 20:11);  A revealing judgment (Jer. 17:10; 11:20; I Cor. 4:5);  A humbling experience (Phil. 2:10-11; Rev. 5:13);  A time of final separation (John 5:28-29; Dan. 12:2);  A time of Divine vengeance (Isa. 61:2; Mal. 4:1-3; Psa. 94:1; Jer. 51:24);  A pivotal moment of a new beginning (II Pet. 3:10-14; Rev. 21:1; Isa. 51:6; 34:4; Psa. 102:25-26)
