1 Sharda Chawla is associated with Madhubun Educational Books - the Children's Book division of Vikas Publishing House Pvt Ltd, New Delhi - since its inception. She has been involved with conceptualising, developing, selecting and publishing books for children for over two decades.

She loves children and she loves books! Publishing children's books is, therefore, an obvious choice. She is equally passionate about making learning a joyous experience for children.

She is the recepient of Federation of Indian Publishers' Award for 'Distingiuished Women Publishers, 1999' and 'Fiji Sahitya Samiti Award, 2001'.
