Both are essential we can not do away with any of them What is the priority? Are we ensuring both? With the right priority? Who decides the value? and on what basis is it decided?
If #1 is not clear, this is decided by others, by assumptions dumped into us, hence these decisions are not definite If #1 is clear, the decisions are definite and fulfilling

We can see that both, values & skills, are necessary; they are complementary; the priority is values then skills; we want to decide the purpose or value from within ourselves (Since it is about purpose, value education is relevant for and can be taken up by teachers from all branches, all subjects)

Thus we urgently need to cater to this domain adequetely in order to fructify our efforts on skill development along with proficient engineers, we want to ensure that we are making good human beings
