Air-conditioning Installation (Externally)

Preamble for the air conditioning installations

The air conditioning installation for this project shall be the air condition of packaged system, which consisting air condition unit complete with refrigerant piping, supply and return duct and other accessories as shown on drawing. The system shall be installed according to manufacturers instruction and to be approved by the M&E consultant.
York packaged system air cooling unit size 1550 mm X 1900 mm X 1450 mm high model ACC 435 15 tonnes 30 kW strip heat 208 V day and night 180 PAC complete with integral subcooler, propeller type condenser fan and motor, refrigerant circuit, 50 mm diameter refrigerant pipe, safety control, filter, blower and mixing dampers. It shall be completely charged with refrigerant R22 as cooling medium. The unit shall be fixed on anti-vibration mounting 2200 mm X 1850 mm X 400 mm thick sawn pressure treated group B timber. The anti-vibration shall be constructed by the main contractor.

Galvanised mild steel sheet low velocity low pressure duct to HVCA spec. with s-slip or pocket lock seams, welded in the running length, cross-bracing to strengthen side and top 1800mm x 350mm elbow as take off plenum 2500mm long (girth). Extra Over 400mm x 200mm to 300mmx 200mm G.I. reducing pieces including jointing and fixing in supply air. Extra Over 300mm x 200mm x 150mm G.I. tee including jointing and fixing in supply air duct / return air duct

50mm thick Aeroflax or other approved flexible expanded rubber compound insulation to 40mm diameter copper tubing.
