Summary
Objective: To show the effectiveness of the Dual Language Program using an outcome based evaluation Target Groups: Kindergarten to 5th Grade Regular and Dual Language Classrooms Main Activities: Teacher observations, ESOL coordinator interviews, questionnaires, classroom observations, administrator interviews
Background
According to research, schools that implement the Dual Language Program with fidelity show higher test results compared to classrooms that do not implement the Dual Language curriculum.
Objective
Aim of the Project: The project should be able to give some knowledge of how effective the Dual Language Program is for both teachers and students

Indicators to measure the effectiveness of the evaluation: 1. Compare Reading Running Records for K-2 Dual Language and Regular classrooms 2. Compare FAIR results of the students in the Dual Language and Regular classrooms 3. Compare the FCAT results for Grades 3-5 students in the Dual Language and Regular classrooms 4. Compare the behavior records (discipline referrals, suspensions, etc) in the Dual Language and Regular classroom 5. Compare the best practices that teachers are using in the regular classroom and the Dual Language Classroom
