The Definition of Announcement

Announcement is something said, written or printed to make known what has happened or (more often) what will happen.

In writing an announcement, keep the following points : The title/type of event. Date/time. Place. Who to contact.

Example of written announcement :

Announcement This Thursday in August 17th, the independence day. Dont miss the independence day festival. The festival begins at 08.00 in district in Jakarta.
