INTRODUCTION
In this project I am going to explain and describe the Describe and compare Boeing 747 and Airbus A380 .
I am also doing a Case study of any actual mishap of an Air crash. This will increase my knowledge in aviation sector .
AIRBUS A-380
The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, fourengine airliner manufactured by the European corporation Airbus, a subsidiary of EADS. The largest passenger airliner in the world, the A380 made its maiden flight on 27 April 2005 from Toulouse, France and made its first commercial flight on 25 October 2007 form Singapore to Sydney with Singapore Airlines.
The Boeing 747 is a wide-body commercial airliner and cargo transport, often referred to by its original nickname, Jumbo Jet, or Queen of the Skies. It is among the world's most recognizable aircraft, and was the first wide-body ever produced. Manufactured by Boeing's Commercial Airplane unit in the United States, the original version of the 747 was two and a half times the size of the Boeing 707,[5 one of the common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, the 747 held the passenger capacity record for 37 years.
Boeing 747
The proposed models would have combined the 747's fuselage with a new 251 ft (77 m) span wing derived from the 777. Other changes included adding more powerful engines and increasing the number of tires from two to four on the nose landing gear and from 16 to 20 on the main landing gear.]
The A380s twin-aisle, twin-deck passenger cabin offers the longdistance traveller a whole new level of comfort. A cabin designed around needs of passengers today and tomorrow provides the latest comfort standards with wider seats and aisles, plus more space regardless of class of ticket. Optional lower deck use for rest areas, business, bar or other amenities can further enhance the A380 travel experience.

AIRBUSA380
As per my opinion, Airbus A-380 is better than Boeing 747 because the Airbus new design Super jumbo, the A380, is the world's first twin-deck, twin-aisle airliner. AirbusA380 is also safer than Boeing747. Advantages of the A380 include lower fuel burn per seat and lower operating costs per seat. The size of the aircraft also allows for a surprising number of configurations for different airlines, such as these luxury beds.
US Airways flight 1549 has crash landed in the icy Hudson River in New York City.
Case study:
In the evolution of aviation safety it is often recognized that after an accident, accident investigators conduct exhaustive research in the cause of such accidents. Often, once a conclusion is reached, regulations are put in force to prevent such accidents from happening.
15 Jan 2009 US Airways flight 1549 has crash landed in the icy Hudson River in New York City. The Airbus A320 was heading 155 people on board, including the 2 pilots and 3 flight attendants. Due to one engine failure by the bird strike and fuel leakage also. So it is landed on water.
At the end of this project I gained knowledge about the different types of aircraft specially Boeing 747 and Airbus A380 .I also got to know about the mishaps that takes place as an air crash . This gave me the fine outlook of an aviation industry .
