Lessons Learned and Challenges

The replication/expansion of National School Hygiene Program is yet to be optimal Many stakeholders on school sanitation, but no synergy The focus of school sanitation has been more to the construction of facilities, not the behavior change Facilities sustainability is low Community involvement is low

School has not been considered as the center of excellence/focal point in supporting the sanitation development program

Future Orientation
Supporting schools as the focal point/centre of excellence in sanitation development program
Institutional mapping of school sanitation (on going) Development of national school sanitation grand design (on going) Development of national school sanitation database Development of national school sanitation roadmap for 5-10 years ahead

TERIMA KASIH (THANK YOU)
