1. Caractersticas
a) Construda em alvenaria, revestida com cimento e areia ou em concreto;
b) Equipada com ferragens para sustentao dos cabos telefnicos;
c) Ter furos para passagem dos cabos telefnicos;
d) Devem ser construdos poos de esgotamento (drenos) para esgotamento
das guas pluviais. Em locais onde haja aparecimento do lenol fretico,
construir a caixa sem o dreno;
e) Os pisos das caixas devem ter inclinao mnima de 3 % no sentido do
poo de esgotamento (dreno);
f) Ter tampo de ferro.
2. Localizao
Deve ficar paralela ao alinhamento predial, sendo de aproximadamente 2,5 m
a distncia do alinhamento predial ao centro da caixa;
Deve ficar afastada 1 m de outras caixas subterrneas e de postes;
No deve ser instalada em local de acesso de veculos.

a) Na caixa "A" a quantidade de pares a seremdistribudos igual
quantidade de pares que devem aliment-la. Isto porque a caixa "A" a
ltima caixa da rede primria do pavimento. Ela no alimenta nenhuma
outra caixa.
b) Na caixa "B" a quantidade de pares a seremnela distribudos zero.
Isto significa que a caixa "B" ser utilizada apenas como caixa de
passagempara cabo. Nenhum ponto estar sendo atendido diretamente
por ela.
c) Na caixa "C" a quantidade de pares a seremdistribudos igual
quantidade de pares que devem aliment-la. Esta caixa serve tambm
como caixa de passagempara a caixa A.
