Trs candidatos se apresentaram para substituir o presidente atual. Dois
deles no so americanos
A China pediu nesta segunda-feira "que a voz dos pases em
desenvolvimento" seja levada em conta quando o novo presidente do Banco
Mundial for escolhido, em um contexto de crescentes presses para pr fim

OTTAWA (Reuters) - O Canad e o bloco comercial Mercosul vo realizar
discusses exploratrias para fortalecer seu relacionamento, disse o ministro do
Comrcio canadense, Ed Fast, nesta sexta-feira.

tentou fechar um acordo com os Estados Unidos.
Negociaes com a Unio Europeia tropearam nas discusses sobre subsdios
agrcolas da UE e disputas sobre barreiras tarifrias, alm do acesso a produtos
industrializados a determinados mercados.
'Embora estejamos nos estgios iniciais dessas discusses, sabemos que existem
oportunidades comerciais em potencial nesse mercado que merecem maiores
dilogos', disse Fast.
O comunicado afirmou que o Mercosul oferece oportunidades para empresas
canadenses nos setores areoespacial, cincias biolgicas, infraestrutura,
telecomunicaes e tecnologia da informao, tecnologias limpas, minerao, e
petrleo e gs.
O comrcio bilateral entre o Canad e o Mercosul totalizou 8 bilhes de dlares
em 2010.
