Hi!

Aqui é a Allie e hoje estou

Wrong Number

It’s nine o’clock in the evening.

Mary is tired.
She goes into the living room
and sits down in her favorite
chair.
“Ah!” she says.

The phone rings in the kitchen.

Mary gets up, goes into the
kitchen, and answers the
phone.

“Hello” she says.”Is Jeff there?”

a young woman asks. “There’s
no Jeff here” Mary says.
“Is this 555-4132?” the woman
asks. “No, you have the wrong
number” Mary says.
“Sorry” the woman says.

Boom! A car crashes into

Mary’s house.The living room
wall falls down.
It falls on Mary’s chair.

Mary goes back into the living

room. She’s shocked, but she’s
happy too.
She’s not happy about the wall.
She’s not happy about her
favorite chair.
But she’s happy about the
wrong number.

Número Errado

São nove horas da noite. A

Mary está cansada.
Ela entra na sala e se senta em
sua cadeira favorita.
“Ah!” ela diz.

O telefone toca na cozinha.

Mary se levanta, entra na
cozinha e atende o telefone.

"Alô", ela diz. "O Jeff está?"

uma jovem pergunta. "Não tem
nenhum Jeff aqui", diz Mary.
"Aí é 555-4132?" a mulher
pergunta. "Não, você tem o
número errado/ Foi engano",
diz Mary.
"Desculpe", a mulher diz.
Um carro bate na casa de Mary.
A parede da sala cai.
Cai na cadeira de Mary.

Mary volta para a sala. Ela está

chocada, mas também feliz.
Ela não está feliz com a parede.
Ela não está feliz com sua
cadeira favorita.
Mas ela está feliz com o
número errado/ engano.
