ENGLISH ACTIVITY - 7° ANO (período de 19/07 a 23/07)

Hello, students!
Na aula de hoje veremos um dos tempos verbais mais importantes da língua inglesa: o Simple Past. Usamos
o Simple Past para expressar uma ação ocorrida em um tempo definido do passado.

O Simple Past é muitas vezes acompanhado por expressões de tempo: yesterday, last night, last week, last year,
one hour ago, two hours ago (etc.).

Em inglês, temos verbos regulares e irregulares. Hoje veremos como formar o passado dos verbos regulares em
inglês. Na forma afirmativa do Simple Past, devemos acrescentar ED no final dos verbos regulares. Vejamos
alguns exemplos:

We traveled to Bahia last year.

She worked very hard.
Yesterday I visited my grandmother.

Em alguns casos, devemos seguir regras para o acréscimo de ED no final dos verbos:

1) Verbos que já terminam em E, acrescentar apenas D:

like → liked He liked the birthday cake.

2) Verbos terminados em Y precedido de consoante → tirar o Y e acrescentar IED:

study → studied Last night I studied a lot.
